Thank you so much. It holds around 50 sheets of copy paper and 25 sheets of card stock. You could get a few sheets more or less, just have to pay attention to the width of the glue strip. I hope this help, please let me know if you need more information and I'll do my best to answer. XOXO Happy Crafting!
You are a hidden gem. Your sound can use a little help, my phones at full volume, but your cards are cute, and I enjoy your enthusiasm ❤. I've watched 2 videos and subscribed, and I can't wait to see more.
Thank you so much and I'm so happy to have you. I will definitely look into my volume settings and see what I can do, thank you for letting me know. XOXO Happy Crafting!
You're welcome and yes you can put as many glue stripes next to each other as long as max width is 1.4 inches. You will need to make also need to make a bigger spine to match the width. I hope this helps, feel free to reach out to me anytime. XOXO Happy Crafting!
It might depending how thick your papers are. The paper along with the spine will need to fit in the machines opening and that is about 1 1/2 inches. The spine will need to be made bigger with a wider base and a few more glue strips side by side. I hope this helps! XOXO Happy Crafting.
It does start at 0 if you lift the cutting bar up and in the open position and use the cutting line as 0. The numbers on the platform start at 3. I hope that make sense. XOXO Happy Crafting!
Do you think this machine would work for a diy coloring book? That would be good enough to sell? I have been stapling them now. But they just don’t look real professional that way. And does it have to have so much overhang on the spine? Because my cover page would be illustrated with a design and the overhang would cover it. Hopefully this makes sense. 😂 I considered using spiral binding. But this would probably be more cost effective for retail selling.
Yes, I just made my self a crafting coloring book and it is holding up fine. I also made a video on it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NbmPh-TwV_E.html
I also make my over hang smaller on all my books, most of my videos will show how I do this. I hope this helps and good luck. Keep me posted on all your projects. XOXO Happy Crafting!
Keep trying it took me a few times to get the hang of it. The things that really helped me was to make sure to not over crowd the spine and glue strip, tap on my desk top to make sure all pages are down and touching the glue strip, last tip I let my book cure and the glue to harden around the pages for a full 24 hours before opening. I hope this helps and please keep me posted on your progress. XOXO Happy Crafting!
I wrapped some parchment/greaseproof paper around the spine are before I put it in slots to protect it, plus next one I do I will put some masking /low tack tape down the edges of the cover where it meets the spine to protect from any glue overflow
For designer covers I use waterproof inkjet sticker paper from online labels and after I print my design I apply it and wrap around chipboard sheets. Then I cut a plain piece 1/4” smaller on all sides to cover inside of cover. Make a professional look that is protected. Sometimes I also use self sticking laminate sheets for extra protection.
Turned out so cute!🥰 I bought a Cinch a month ago and I’ve made one book and I love it. I’m on vacation this week some plan to get some more practice in this week. Thanks for sharing!
Such a neat idea!☺️ I’m a Behavior Analyst and I can see myself making personal little books for a couple of my clients. They would absolutely LOBE this! Thanks so much for sharing. I just found the thermal Cinch today and I’ve been bingeing videos. Now I must have this machine! 😩😍
Awww thank you and I can't wait to see what you make. I owned and operated an in home daycare for about 16 years and I would of loved to have the Cinch back then to make all my little daycare buddies their own personal workbook/coloring book. XOXO Happy Crafting!
Hello Jennifer 👋 from Kentucky 🇺🇲 Love your card design! ❤ Sometimes less is better! 👍 I have this set, but haven't used yet. 😳 LOL! I have gazillions of Diamond Press stamp & die sets. Good quality company. Happy Crafting ✂️ God Bless You and Keep You Safe 🙏 New subscriber 😃
Great review! Very impressed with the practical design of the machine. *I’m intrigued with the tape dispenser you’re using for your double sided tape. Where did you purchase that? 💗
Non so dove acquistarlo in Italia, ma lo acquisto negli Stati Uniti da www.HSN.com. XOXO Buon lavoro! (I'm not sure where to buy it in Italy, but I purchase it in the US from www.HSN.com. XOXO Happy Crafting!)
I would like to know if it makes it possible to make dividers and tabs, if so may you make a video on it. Cause I feel the we are memory keepers works tool do more. Thank you
I will have to check when I get back from Vacation. If I can make Tabs and Dividers with this board I will most definitely make a video on it. I also have my eye on the We R Memory Keepers Works. XOXO Happy Crafting!
On HSN it is $84.95 with $7.50 shipping. I do believe you can shop around for it on other craft sites and possibly on Amazon. XOXO Happy Crafting! www.hsn.com/products/we-r-makers-thermal-cinch-binding-machine-kit/21894722
Should be best in this case of it's tipability to stand it where if hit, it will not completely tip over. Like near a wall that if you test it, just a fraction of the top will hit the wall where it is not hot and stop it from completely going over. As it is not only kids you have to worry about, it's pets as well. My cat is a good example of how I have to set up my craft table as he likes to jump and run if he sees something out of the window knocking things flying in his haste.
They are Thermal Glue Strips for book binding. We R Makers does make their own brand. But I'm pretty sure you can find possibly find We R Makers Brand or other Thermal Glue Strips on Amazon. XOXO Happy Crafting!
I did use 12 x12 sheets of double sided adhesive In my other Thermal Cinch Videos. I wanted to try Mod Podge to see how well it worked and I do think I will be going back to double side adhesive. XOXO Happy Crafting!
I was SO DISAPPOINTED that there was not a "Mummy" stamps as my DIL's mother is British and that is what she calls her Mother!! Otherwise it seems to be a good stamp set.
I just tucked a piece of parchment paper in my Thermal Cinch so it's there the next time I make a book and will keep everyone posted. Thanks again such a great idea! @@jenniferwilson6212
Great tips, especially about adding ribbon to back and not opening for 24hrs. Have you tried placing book inside of wax/parchment paper before inserting into TC?
Someone just suggested the parchment paper and thank you for the tip too. I would of never thought of it. I just stuck a piece in my machine for the next book I make, this way I don't forget. I will let everyone know if it works. XOXO Happy Crafting!
