I got a new key from bmw mini it remotely unlocks but doesnt work on door or start the car I have to use the backup key to start the car any suggestions on ista?

@@MidlandsVehicleDiagnostics okay let me put the challenge in details... changed the radio to used on ... the old one is not powering up but there's electrical lines are through...the aftermarket is ON within 30secs anti theft message will pop up.... please apart from the anti theft pin,can I see the video procedure to program the radio before generating the pin code
Does anyone know the actual type of connector that goes to the lead of the camera? I'm trying to do a retrofit as if Vauxhall did it at the factory. At this point it looks like I need a donor harness like a YGK or YGM to take the wires from to add to my existing 4UE No such harness exists which has everything all in one.
hey man, have you ever gotten a fault code B155c13 on a gle (167) ? customer was saying the Bluetooth gets disconnect intermittently while driving and the head up display gets distorted and disappears while driving,and infotainment screen goes blank. whats a usb plus module switch? im told i need to check that
Hello, I believe that fault code relates to the USB ports. Check the USB ports are working and if not it might mean you need to change this part or check the wiring to/from the Headunit for the USB

i had same problem and my control module has lost his code (after some experiments from me) but i could find him in earlier VCDS reports, copied it from there, coded it again, and the error was lost. it was my solution, may be this helps you.
Hi there.. thanks for the video.. I have similar issues in my W205 C200 2015.. I took it to Merc and they said the head unit control module hardware needs replacing. The reverse camera works okay for few seconds and then vertical lines are seen on the display.. the hardware cost is very high, looking for a solution.. do you have any suggestions please? The car is in London area. Thanks..

Hi I’ve just brought an insignia 09 plate I have service AFL keep coming on I’ve notice my shutter don’t work on my drivers side light when using main beam also when its on you can not use full beam at all. any ideas what’s wrong and how to fix it please
@@MidlandsVehicleDiagnostics hello I already did that and they both work. Yesterday all the way home they worked well, and right in the end with a hard left the error leveling appeared and turned of when I centered the wheel. I have no idea, maybe a sensor?
@@mazda323f82 Hello, Best thing to do is check the fault codes. If it’s coming up with a levelling error it maybe something to do with the level sensor
Small piece of plastic could be placed anywhere with 5 seconds access but on Audis you have to disassemble half of the car! Great job german engineers! Having some spare time fun project with Audi A6 C6 atm and the same story with every single thing on this car. A half or even a full day of disassembling and replace the part in 5 minutes and just assemble everything back 😂😅🥲
Good video of how you fixed that. Thank you. Perhaps you can give me some advice for my problem? All sorts of electrical issues in the tailgate. I have one of those fault codes on my VW Polo 2015; the B12C615 for upper brake light malfunction. And two more, B190113 and B126512 regarding rear window defroster. No fault codes for rear wiper, but that is not working either. And sometimes the boot won’t open… 🙄 All fuses OK. Advice and pointers would be much appreciated. 🙏
Hello, This could be the wiring loom being chaffed from the rubber boot. It will need a continuity test done between the boot and the connector in the roof lining to see if any wires are broken. Thanks
@@MidlandsVehicleDiagnostics Thank you for reply. 🙏 There seems to be a ground connection issue that is causing all of this. I have measured voltage in the cable to upper brake light when braking and its seems weird. Could you please elaborate some more about the continuity test you mentioned?
@@TS-gg9dkBasiclaly a continuity test is checking the integrity of the wire to see if there is any breaks in it. Easiest way is to do a Google search of Continuity test and it will explain it in more detail. Thanks
