This vehicle went in for a ABS Module replacement. The garage was unable to do the coding so the customer brought the vehicle to us.
We coded in the new module and also adapted the settings so everything was properly calibrated.

James Svetlovics all coding is different for each vehicle. It depends on what modules are installed in the vehicle

i had same problem and my control module has lost his code (after some experiments from me) but i could find him in earlier VCDS reports, copied it from there, coded it again, and the error was lost. it was my solution, may be this helps you.

Hi there... I have a vw golf mk5 and I have the g201 fault code..( incorrect or missing adaptation) now I have tried to sort out the problem vith VCDS but I am a beginner with using it and I don't know exactly how to calibrate the sensor... would you be able to walk me through it please? Cheers

Hi, i have a Seat Leon with this fault code: 01042/ control module /not coded: 000--. when i log with the vcds, on the n@0 part it states: 1K0 907 379 Q, and in the coding : 0000000, it#s a ESP Front MK60 , lights are flashing like in your video, i just need some advices to solve this problem , The pump is the original one, not changed. Can i pick up a module from the salvage yard and use obdeleven to code it? If so once i go into long coding all i have to do is copy what i see and input it to the new module? 2006 gti

MeanFamilyGuy Gaming Channel If you recover the original coding from the original module you can then use that coding on the replacement module. You will need to do a function test and potential other guided functions which I believe OBDeleven does not do.

Are you using VCDS? If so, the procedure is a simple as going into the ABS BRAKES control unitthen LONG CODING and inputting in the code. it should say CODING ACCEPTED. after that you will need to calibrate all the sensors/valves and then complete the function test.

From what I’m aware he bought a second hand one from eBay and has copied from other one but no idea if he has copied the other one. The car has been away a month now and I’m trying to figure out a solution. He did send pics of the inside of module with corrosion so not sure if he was able to connect to it.
