Dear Casandra Jenkins ! Congratulations from Europe ❤ I‘m looking forward to this phantastic- magnifiscent new album. Kind regards from Hannover in Germany !
Suffering from Bipolar I and PTSD-I don't know why but this song gives me hope and the solace I need when I'm not feeling well. Thank you, Cassandra. ❤
My dad was paraplegic from a motorcycle since I was four months old on our goat farm. When i was 12, he had a life threatening bone-infection and the docs amputated a leg in an experimental procedure that failed. When I first saw him in the hospital the day they cut his left leg off, he had a big sh!t-eating grin on his face waiting to drop his dad joke... "Today was a half off sale at the hospital... Usually they charge you an arm and a leg. This time, they just took the leg.." My dad died younger than shoulda in 2009 of Leukemia... but he would absolutely love this song and it ties everything: fear, pain, trauma, survival, and love and healing all swirled together... Great songwriting ties us distant specks of life experience together in an incidental web that makes us feel unique and universal all at once. This song epitomizes that.
In fifth grade I joined a local baseball team to try it instead of hanging out with goats on the farm. I tried to catch a "pop ball" that blockef the sun. I got a head welt dome like poor Sam. Thank you for your injurious bodily scapegoat of "destruction of equivalent value", Sam and I hope you had a full recovery plus ample positive xp in making this movie. I personally am tickled somewhere between beige-ish near-pink to fuscia to learn Hailey Gates is , in fact, more than a naught Saints trading cards legend, but hooman as well!
The tenderness in this song is astoundingly. Its presnt in the vocals, the musicality, and the lyrics. My favorite track on the album. Had it on single repeat for days. Thank you for such a beautiful vulerable album. Im so glad i found your work. Its truly healing.
