I saw Luther several times at concerts in Germany, 1 time in Memphis/TN - Memphis in May...each time I was captivated by his charisma, his guitar playing and his voice. He is still my absolute hero of the blues today
Chris Baron's voice did NOT age well, but the song itself is pretty solid, a (kind of) decent comeback tune, although I'm not surprised it wasn't a hit, given the very rough and old school sound.
Luther was a lovely man, I was lucky enough to dine with him spontaneously before one of his shows in Wisconsin in the early nineties. What an amazing musician and human being. RIP Luther. ❤
The description says Eric Johnson. I didn't see the Eric Johnson that I know of! The Eric Johnson I know of grew up in Dallas I believe and he plays a lot of what's considered " Fuson Rock" and he's a guitar 🎸 slinger that plays a lot with Joe Satriani!
