I've done a few car shows with it when I restored it back in 2005. It's showing it's age now as far as how clean it is. I'm doing a drivetrain upgrade at this time. Engine and transmission. Hope to get upwards of 800hp to the rear wheels. That's not a lot by today's standards...even with a turbo V6.
You got me inspired to build something like your car , came across your video a while ago when your parents were driving with the turbo 6 in it . Nice to see you still have it
Can I still update the software with out changing the windows because the windows can’t be changed to windows 7 or 10 so all I’m asking can the software be updated to 17.2 with out changing the windows?
No. The only way I've heard is if one of the old dealers didn't sell a copy of the 17.2 with the REQUIRED key. There could be someone out there in the software programming field that could hack the software and not require the key to install.
I can't believe I have 14K views on this video. There's literally no content in it other than me going around in circles. However, when I posted this video 11 years ago, Google was paying me for placing ads on it, so I did get some money out of posting it. Since then, Google took the revenue away from us unpopular channels so I make no money at all on any of my video's anymore due to "lack of subscribers". Companies like to "hook you" and reel you in when they're a growing business and when THEY'RE in need of customers. Then, when they reach their goal, they cut the little guys off. Rant over.😁
I used a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi as a complete donor car. It's using an OBDII ECM from the Bonneville. I took the entire drivetrain out of it (including the OBDII engine wiring harness) and adapted the harness to the LeSabre under-dash harness.
Thanks Mr. Adams! Any relation to the Adams Family? 😁 There's another "HOW TO" video coming up in a minute. It's about setting up the shifter indicator positions on the Holley Pro Dash.
I have this exact model. Over the years I have had to replace the starter twice, The gear at the bottom of the steering shaft (because I left it in the weather and didnt grease it) re-attach the wiring to the PTO because i let it get tangled in the belts.. three batteries. and now the Differential is making a popping sound it reverse. I think its jumping teeth. Oh im still on the original drive and deck belts. And The Kohler engine starts easy never had a moments problem with it.
The popping you're hearing is the reverse engagement coupling. The tips of them get rounded off and then it will slip out of the mating coupling and then re-engage in the next groove. That's the pop you're probably hearing. I took a die grinder and shaved them both enough to remove the rounded edges. Also, the forward one also needed the same thing done in mine. On top of that, they really don't engage very deep anyway. I still have my mower but I only use it to tow my utility trailer around the yard.
I used to work at Michelin. We had these exact same robots in operation before I left. But it wasn't for anything but repetitious motion. They cleared out a whole dept. Went from 25+ ppl to less then 5. Yay progression. 🤨
Does anyone have a license for a Verus Pro? Version 16.2.1 or later. I upgraded, and I guess the program they have on their website to update diagnostic suite doesn't update the license file, so I'm having problems with updating the OS
You can't use anyone else's license on your Verus for Diagnostic Suite. You'll have to use your original license to activate the version that your Verus originally had.
@@TurboMalibuV6 The version I originally had was 15.4 I updated to 16.2.1, but the license is still for 15.4 Have you ever tried rolling back? I've tried a few things but no luck
I've got the files in a ZIP folder that you can download directly from the link I provided in the description. You can RIGHT CLICK on the link and select SAVE LINK AS. After you hit SAVE, you might have a pop-up if you're using Microsoft Edge browser. If you do see it, it may say the file is unsafe. Just hover your mouse over the file and select KEEP....and then select KEEP ANYWAY. The file will start downloading. That's how I just downloaded it. The Licenses that are in the download WILL NOT work on YOUR VERUS.
thanks for this video. i was going to buy a Verus D10 20.2 updated today ( for 1Kbox) after i scan my car and showed codes, to go forward each code had FIX IT botton and was forced to connect to web using a QR code but we did not have wifi that area. Q. the snap-on must be connected to WIFI for full scan functionality? 2. to use the tool we have to subscribe of snap on? how come some older models just work without wifi and no subscription as i see in shops around.
I just got a Neato VS Signature off for Mercari, I’m hoping it will arrive later this week. (I’m hopping by friday feb third. I probably will make a test between my Roomba 880 and it. I have been looking for a new one for a wile sense my D85 stopped powering on last year. (2022) I will try to add updates to this. If I forgot, just send a reply to this comment so I will remember.
I used IN4002. This system was installed back in the mid 2000's. I've never had any to go bad and it's still working perfect after all these years. They are located at the rear of the engine in a wire harness getting all the heat possible from the engine compartment.
NICE AF. But there's no way in hell that I'm doing all this to my Bike because I'm just building mine's for my weekend entertainment, HP AND SPEED. Not all this extra SHHHH! Just gonna slam it, stretch it much further out than this short extension right here with the BIG FAT 300 TIRE KIT on it and do the other workings on it and that's a wrap after that #2001SUZUKIGSXR1000👍🏽 👌🏽
Actual time slip says it went a 6.56 at 106.9mph. This was with the trans starting off in 2nd gear with a 5psi boost launch. *That's the beauty of a 200-4R transmission sometimes* (sarcasm).
I tried putting windows 7 on my verus d10 and I found the scope drivers but when I try to diagnostic suite to boot up I get an error saying A problem was detected with the authorization of the application please contact customer care any advise. Awesome video!!!
This video doesn't provide the correct steps to get Diagnostic Suite working on your D10 VERUS. This video is for the EEMS325 VERUS. The D10 requires a different route to get things to work. Read the PINNED comment and you will find how some people got it to work.
tried to install windows 7 on my verus d10 I followed this and I’m having an issue with diagnostic suite saying A problem was detected with the authorization of this application please contact customer care any insight or ideas thank you very much awesome video very helpful

The VERUS D10 is a little different to get it working than the older one. Take a look in the comments on this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6rzdzN8GW4g.html ...especially the first Pinned comment. You may find info there.
Haha...no chance I'll sell it! It's the best thing I've ever put on my car as an upgrade. Here's my web page showing how I got it done. www.turbomalibu.com/malibu-dualfuelsystem.html
