These are videos of me and my friends having fun, and occasionally being stupid. (it usually costs us money). I'll get a couple up here every week for you. Thanks for viewing.
Hey man! Glad you like it. I worked with your dad for a couple years while I was at Williams. Good guy. He had a never ending job there and he’d just show up and bust his hump to get it done. It’s one of those under-appreciated jobs. So I just started grabbing video clips thinking someday I’d make this a gag video reel for him. Now it’s become a bit of a memorial, so I leave it up. Miss that guy. Thanks for chiming in. 👍🏼
My carhartt cargo (Fire resistance) pants wear out in about 2-3 months and that’s alternating between 3-4 pairs. If I can get more than that, I’m happy. (I’m a power lineman)
3-5 days a week for a year, yeah brother those are some hardcore pants. I need to get some. Try this with a pair Wrangler or Carhartt and see what happens LOL
Ha! I just bought 2pr of Carhartt for that exact reason! A carhartt employee told me they’re no longer making the original duck material anymore. I couldn’t order bibs in original duck, and on their site it was only one pair/style left in original duck. Not sure I like that... Back to those firehose pants, I work in a machine shop and am around raw steel all day, they look almost that good today although I’ve since bought a couple more pair so these are only worn once, maybe twice a week now. Still a damn tough pant for the money.
I'd say considering you practically live half your life in those pants, they held up pretty well. No tearing of the material or stitches separating is the main thing. Velcro never lasts on anything. Buttons or snaps would be way better. Thank you for your review. I just ordered some.
Hey Ruth. Thanks. This is old video! I was just thinking of him and the Williams crew a few days ago. Miss those days. We kinda made this as a gag for him about 2 months before his passing. Now I leave it up cause it’s all we got. 😔 Thanks again.
Duluth Trading Company is a shady outfit--LET THE BUYER BEWARE. They billed me $22 for 2nd Day Shipping, and it took six days for my package to reach me. Thanks to their bullshit, I wasn't able to give a friend his gift. I contacted Duluth Trading Company, and they didn't apologize or offer to make the situation right--they just made a snide reply full of a bunch of excuses.

Well that was really useful in helping me decide that I DO NOT need a 100L or more bag for my trip! It's amazing how many videos there are showing off the bag and its features, but "litres" means nothing until you can actually relate to it. Thanks!
So you wear 1 pair of pants 3 days a week for a year so you've worn them 150+ times and your complaining about fraying because you bought then to long. Sounds like there in good shape for the usage
James DeGraw I am complaining about the fraying as they don’t drag on the ground. These pants won’t drag if you wear them with boots. So I’m not sure why they frayed there. They also got holes in the pockets (which was my main reason for return), when I carry nothing in my pockets except for car keys and cell phones. If you consider 150 wears reasonable for $75, then by all means, buy stock in Duluth. 👍🏼
@@itsarubicondayso depending o. The number of keys it can cause wear on a pocket, I personally hang my keys off my belt loop as I dont like being stabbed by them. You said your pants were 2inches to long which makes me think the fraying is from rubbing on your boots
James DeGraw I guess that could be. My boots are mostly smooth on the back, and because the pants are cut not too baggy, the cuff doesn’t make contact with the tread. But I guess I can’t rule that out....
Sewermonkey69 They fit pretty close to size. I typically wear a 32x32 and found these to be a little long actually, but would prefer that when working. After a few washes (and dries) they shrink about half a size. So I guess IMO if you’re on the fence, I’d order one size up. PS: I did just return these to the store on 7/14/18 and they took them back and replaced them no questions asked.
itsarubiconday thanks. I’ve been going back and forth for about a year on buying these because I usually don’t like to buy clothes online because they all run differently. I wear a 30-31 usually. But sometimes for some pants, 30 is tight and sometimes 32 is huge. I’m gonna go to a store this weekend and try some on I guess. Thanks again
Castleknight I emailed them and told them about the fraying issue. Said I wasn’t thrilled considering I don’t put them through anything too crazy. They did say they would replace them, I just have to pay to mail them back to their return department.
Hey guys, wanted to let you know I did finally get around and took these back to Duluth on 7/14/18. They had to find me in their system, but did take the pants back without any questions. I didn’t even get the chance to tell them why I returned them. I walked in and asked if I could make a warranty claim for new pants and they issued me a credit for the purchase price of these pants, no questions asked. FYI. Hope this helps!
Edward Peña I used it for a cross-state bicycle ride. It held all my gear, including food for a 6 day event, albeit stuffed to the gills. If I had to guess, it was 60-65lbs. Very similar to carrying a 60-70L backpack on your back when fully loaded. It was almost too uncomfortable to carry on my back it was so heavy. Hope this helps a bit. Sorry I didn't see this sooner.
Thanks for this review. So in the end, both duffle bags have one gigantic main compartement and thats it? No padded compartement for notebooks? No separate shoe compartement? Only one big hole for clothes?
69indigoblue Correct. Neither have a padded compartment for a notebook specifically. The Mammut has decent sized pockets on the ends and I did put a pair of loafers in there. They both have a handful of small mesh pockets inside for small items and keeping them from getting lost. But yes, both seem to be built for sheer volume with less emphasis on organization. In the end, I kept the Mammut. The Osprey has a rock solid warranty, but the Mammut just felt like it held more gear from my trip. Sorry it took a week to respond....
@@SileDevil Hi Sile. I do still use it, but not nearly as often. Maybe once or twice a year. It has held up well. The heavy denier on the bottom has scuff and is scratched, but not frayed. Some really minor stitching is coming undone on one of the handles where it is attached to the bag, but it’s minor and I’ll just have it redone in the future. Certainly has scratches on it and scuffs but it’s held up pretty well IMO. I would compare it to the North Face duffel or Patagonia’s Black Hole bags. It just seems invincible. Not waterproof and it never claimed to be, but I do find the zippers allow water to get in somewhat quickly and easily. So if you’ll be near water at all, maybe look something with better flaps or zippers. Other than that, I’m happy with the purchase still. 👍🏼
first of all I hate when people get into mud with no mud tires you're bound to get stuck second of all he's a dumbass driver the Tahoe is more than capable of going through that if you would had tires like the Jeep and a good driver it would have been more capable maybe even better in this situation
SNEEKS 253 First of all, let me just say again that to the guy's defense, it was his first time wheeling off road ever. And it was his first truck that HE bought so he didn't want to screw it up right out of the gate. But I agree with you on the Tire thing. Secondly, the shitty music makes everyone hate something in this video. I had other music but YT made me change it due to copyright BS and I let them choose it. MISTAKE.
Usxc B Thought about that about 3 weeks later. But running the winch out then in would've killed my battery for sure. I need one of the idle revving tools to keep my rpms up while winching.
Last Wed. in La., I see this car stopped out in about 20" water and I actually asked the pickup truck driver parked at the edge of the flooded section if it was stuck. "No, they are just fishing." Ouch, if he'd added "here's your sign" it'd have been perfect. I donated my tow strap and moved on with a laugh.
Ethan Holshouser I just have a Liberty. I'd bet the flowing water limit is less then 10" even for a Wrangler and anyway if you can't survive crossing the water outside the vehicle you are better off not attempting to cross it - and that water is very cold, very wide, and flowing.
I'm not a fan of Mile Marker either. I had their 3500lb winch on our side by side. Something on the gear side failed just as I needed it the most. Replaced it with a 5k harbor freight winch - much better and no problems since! HF on the side by side, Warn XD9000i on the truck. Both work great!
I have a mile marker. it's about 8 years old. I'm the 3rd owner and a magnet in the motor exploded. I Called them and their customer service was excellent. they sent me the motor for $123 with free shipping. it's normally $175 plus shipping.
And I'm not sure why my experience was so bad. I've heard both good and bad experiences since posting this. In the end, my first experience was a bad one. When you drop that much money and it doesn't work out if the box, then want to charge me $130 to ship it back without even offering a replacement, it just seems like they didn't care. So for that reason, I'm not a MileMarker fan.
+Walter Black I know right!!!??? They dont even know that on a JK the oil filter is on the top of the fucking motor! LOL! (Assuming the they have the pentastar motor) But even so, these dude are gay.
My Rubibwas an 08, so it didn't have the Pentastar. With the 2.5" lift and 35s, it was a dog. Had a hard time keeping it at 70mph. That was a good part of the reason I sold it.
+Reigny Daiye Mickfly Would you want your kid in a seat belt in a situation that you could roll your jeep and not be able to get them out quickly? They are in the damn driveway, super nanny.
Reigny Daiye Mickfly LOL! No, it wouldn't have rolled...I just needed some dumb shit to say, seemed logical. I am pretty sure that the seat belt laws just apply on when on the street, I may be wrong.
+J.D. Turner seatbelt laws are for any street legal automobile operating on ANY street and build after 1975 when they were installed in every model and mandatory to use
Okay, but how about neither of these drivers are the best, but the Jeep has the advantage. The Jeep is what you buy for dedicated off roading. Climbing, mud, crawling, etc. The Tahoe is what you buy for towing and trail riding. The older ones were better for doing jeep things, but the Tahoe looks pretty bare bones in this video. Give the Tahoe a little suspension upgrade, some good tires, and a competent driver. Suddenly, it's not so bad.
