I love that you mentioned those desk bells, we love them so much and they helped my child to develop perfect pitch. So often when parents talk about musical instruments for young children they only include percussion instruments, or really cheap plastic instruments that don't give you a real sense of what the true instrument should sound like

If anyone’s kids use scooters please get them to wear helmets. Falling off can be catastrophic without a helmet. 😔

Instead of toys as gifts, give educational books a try. It may not be as cool as toys but they offer alot in terms of literature and learning. Not all children though are book lovers, so i recommend you pique their interest with tailor made books much like *personalised childrens books*

Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil

I think this is a great list. My son is 13, but we’re planning on having another child. The thought of toys/baby/little kid overrunning my house is leaning me to as minimal as possible with kid 2.

Lovely content, I try to have one of each kind so we don't end up with thousands of toys that are not played with. I have been looking for indoor motor toys as we live in the north of Sweden and it's not easy to go out on the coldest winter days. This helped me a lot to understand what we have and giving me options to what I could give her for Christmas. Many thanks!

FOR THE FULL LIST OF GIFT TOY IDEAS MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO, CLICK HERE: www.naturalvita.net/minimalism-gift-toys-15-toys-need/ We all love to see our children filled with joy about a gift/toy that they can use time and again. The list of minimalist gifts I have put together will give the child the opportunity to explore the materials in many creative ways, make discoveries for themselves and play out imaginative scenarios from their daily life. Other items are typical Montessori materials that will allow the child to refine their grasp, fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination concentration, and dexterity and provide practice working with two hands together. Some of the items are more specific for toddlers like a balancing bike whereas others are timeless toys that can be used and revisited by older children too.

Wow. I am really interested in the elimination method. I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old. I can't wait to get him potty trained. Also, I love the kitchen involvement. I think I will buy a step stool so my 4 year old can start helping me do the dishes.

Hi! How funny you happen to make this video. I grew up drinking kefir in Russia, but haven't had it as much as an adult, living in the US. 3 weeks ago I actually ordered some beautiful kefir grains and started making my own kefir too! I have always loved the flavor. The more sour the better for me😉 Cheers to beneficial bacteria🥛

That is amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience. I too got my first batch from someone native to Serbia a few years ago. Ever since then I have loved the taste and benefits of this delicious health drink. Cheers to your beautiful kefir grains and the beneficial bacteria.

Love this video! Where can we purchase kefir grains? Also, would you recommend a good quality store brand that comes from grass fed cows or sheep? And, unsweetened of course. I definitely want to incorporate more kefir into my diet daily!

Hello. I got my first Kefir grains from a native Serbian but I have also purchased organic kefir grains from amazon UK. I think amazon is a great place to look if you have them in your area. You can also try facebook groups and health food stores are another place to look.

I guess it is not so 'forderlich', but most times I try to say it correctly. I must admit my German is only improving now since I started the quest to speak only German with my sons but sometimes I still fall into the habit of mixing German and English. Having said that, I am so proud of myself for going for it and sharing my native language with the boys.

#montessori #method #home #education In montessori education (also at home) there is a dynamic relationship between the child, the adult and the learning environment. The child is engaged and in charge of their own learning, supported by the adult (parents) and their environment. In the video you will see the materials laid out on shelves in a sequential order. There are plenty of open end activities to capture their attention and interest and there is an ample opportunity to engage in practical daily life activities to develop the whole child. I hope you enjoy snippets of how we montessori at home.
