I recently visited an Omega store for the first time and was really impressed. Currently, I only own Rolex watches: a Datejust 41 and two ladies’ Datejusts for my wife.
I'm a guy who dailies a white gold Sub but I'm going to agree with Paul here and go with the yellow gold. It reminds me of the JPS and just finishes off and otherwise fairly subtle watch. I don't think anyone is dailying the Le Mans, so having that extra punch is fine.
Batman! It's a Batman who cares if they changed the bracelet. The Pepsi is still the Pepsi whether it's on an oyster or jubilee bracelets. So IMO it is still Batman regardless of the bracelet.

I am not particularly enamored with a chronograph. I think most chronograph owners will play with the buttons a few times when they first get their watch, but after that never really use the function very often. I get that it's an iconic look and that attracts a lot of people, which is perfectly fine. On my wrist right now is a GMT Master II, with the Coke bezel. I simply love the look of the aluminum bezel and prefer it over the much more popular Pepsi bezel. I do find it odd that a Rolex named after a race in Florida, pays homage to a 24-hour race in France. I don't know how else you could have done this video, but the constant rapid-fire mention of reference numbers was difficult to follow. Other than that, I liked this format with Ripley and Paul and hope you do more like it in the future.
You got to educate yourself... At first the Rolex Daytona was advertised as the Rolex Le Mans... It changed to the Rolex Daytona 2-3 years later to boost their sales in the US market which was an expanding market...
@@bobbybobby3589 Didn't know that. I read that it was nicknamed Le Mans but that wasn't on the dial. Daytona showed up on the dial in 1965. I guess by naming the Le Mans they have come full circle. Thanks for the history lesson.
The original Rolex chronograph (ref. 6239) was marketed as the "Le Mans" in 1963. Rolex would later lean into "Daytona" once they sponsored the 24 Horus of Daytona in the mid-1960s. Fun facts! So glad you enjoyed this video.
Couldn't wait to watch this! Just wow! Edit: I can't agree more about the full color subdials. That is my only gripe about the current stainless steel Daytona's. I noticed right away that full color subdials are only available on precious metal models. Rolex knows exactly how to get the most money out of their customers. Lol.
