How can you make 6.0's great again in a 6.7? I have a 6.7 myself. But it seems a bit fake to claim 6.0 in a 6.7. kove both engines but rep what you ride dude.
07 f250 was making a bad noise that sounded like it was from the turbo and then one day it wouldn’t start. I pulled the turbo and oil was definitely getting through it but I’m not sure if that’s what was causing it not to start. I also have a slight coolant leak but I don’t think that could cause it

Do you mean the clip that goes into the rocker box? I have not encountered that when I have done injectors on mine with the odawg intake. Any pictures you could share with me
No, I’m mounting a bullet proof oil cooler and the s2r odawgs intake manifold. The problem is after installation I can’t plug in the ficm wire harness to injectors ports on passenger side. Intake to close to plug
I just checked my link and it should bring you to the last one for about $38. I may need to test his cheaper style to see if it works still. That link is the oem style I do see they have those more expensive ones I'm not sure why. I can do a video comparing the knock off key fob to the oem electronics too.
04. 6.0. Head studs. 4” straight exhaust. Egr delete. Stock everything else. I run sct canned performance. I get 20 mpg on the highway driving sensible. About 16-17 in the tow tune pulling 10k camper.
I do not have experience with the xdp setup, I have heard the bpd is a good one, and the prime cooling on Amazon I have heard good things about. If I were to need a new one I would probably look at the ipr research heavy duty radiator
First double check your work. I would drop the lower filter again make sure the filter is installed correctly and then tighten the cap back down. Next go up to and make sure that all the connectors are tight and not leaking. After that I would try repricing the system again but this time doing say 10 primes
@@six0bros Update....got code P0087, low fuel rail pressure with a whinny sound from the pump and just can't get rid of it. I checked the fuel filter housing and it needed two more turns, sucking in air. Did 10 more primes and still wouldn't turn over so I'm redoing all steps and also disconnected the batteries too. Took the opportunity to clean the battery stands and connections too.
@adriangeorgescu3358 how much fuel is in your tank? I think next I would have someone turn the truck to power on (don't try and start) amd see if there is a leak on the top side with the pump running
Though I really thank you for all the info of things to keep a watch out for and the numbers to go with it. This tells me that I don’t want a ford . I don’t have the time to watch a screen while I drive and being self employed. I need one I can go and keep fluids changed on a schedule and not have a problem. They just sound like ford made a truck that looks great but made a crap motor that you have to be a engineer to keep alive
Take your time I would use some plastic tools if you can, be careful with screw drivers or prybars because you don't want to dent the upper oil pan which you can do when trying to get the old one off. Take your time slowly work it off if you have some flat scrapers they may work
You are completely correct. I had to do one in my sister's car years ago and a result the video but haven't actually sat down and edited it. I need to do that because it's much faster to not do what we did here

I have an 03’ 6.0. Truck runs great until I pull weight up the hill, mid range RPMs it coughs and acts like it wants to lose power. I give it more fuel and that “solves” the issue. That just means I have to run up hills and high RPMs. Any thoughts from anyone?

Can’t even find pictures online, then all the videos don’t show the before and after and if there any better. They look nice but do they perform???? Did they perform as cheap as they cost? Could be a good reason not to show that.. pretty embarrassing to cut up the headlight pocket for lights that are worse off….
there is not a kit to do that like they have on the duramax. the 2 options we have is to replace with a dcr pump which I think is the best choice, or to add a DPK from spe or S&S fuel.
Damn! Looks like you really did buy them fancy KD aluminum heads. I painted my Iron heads to look aluminum but the grease dripping from a stripped out Rocker box valve cover bolt hole is common lol HELICOIL is the easy best fix. Rocker boxes are just made from pop metal cheap alum strip out easy from dirty, crossed threads, over torqued. Usually happens first time someone swaps a injector on the passenger side thinking its easy just like the driver side easy 30 min job.so you dick around till 9-10pm to start. Next thing you know the sun is rising and gotta be at work in a hour lol
I say yes you want to pair the injectors size to the proper size turbo. But I'd prefer bigger injectors fjrst cause 205/30s, 190/30s and 175/30s can be tuned to run the same as a 155/30 if turbo is stock / undersized. Thats the tuners fucking problem to fix. But if your running big ass tires on stock gears. Then get a bigger leaf blower bolted on. EGT's, Lag and Power isn't really any issue. The problem is the rollin coal Regardless of what the tuner does. But If your competitive at the track on weekends or like to embarrass or bully teens in sportscars bigger injectors is almost like future proofing Just wouldn't go anything bigger then 30% But if you only gonna do brodies and burnouts to maybe just wanna get your buddy's girlfriend wet without him knowing and going broke. it's amazing how much fuel just stock 135cc Injectors can dump with just a tune. Paired any small/ mid-size 10 blade turbo
My f250 super duty when accelerating it sounds like alot of air mass flow rather than hearing to turbo boost like I mean alot of air mass flow what would be the issue??
They can be expensive when things go bad but there are products to help make it better such as the higher end disaster prevention kits from spe and ss fuel
@six0bros sorry I was just watching the 2hr live from 4 months ago. Lol. That would be great. Looking at a 1 owner 06 srw350 128k for $17k. Guys got tons of receipts including hpop, oil cooler, oringged original heads,icp, studded, glow plugs and module, ect. Original injectors, push rods and lifters, turbo and everything else I believe.. I'm just looking at additional reliability items like injectors, odawg,lifters and pushrods,turbo and make sure egr gone along with monitors and tuning for daily with periodic towing 13k..What's your thoughts on KC tow package with 175/stock and odawg s2r, 10blade?
@Kevin-midmichigan sounds like a good truck to buy. The owners seems to have taken care of it. As for the the package I don't see anything wrong with it. Kc makes a good turbo. I think a set of 175/stock woth their stage 2 turbo is a great all around build that will tow very well. The odawg intake is also an excellent upgrade. If you want something more conservative the stock injector with a stage 1 turbo is also excellent and will tow very well.

Any error codes showing up? Did you check fluid level? I had a transmission shift like that because it had a leak, but it could also be a bad solenoid or even the transmission but let's start with fluid level and codes.

I am not 100% sure as he got rid of the truck and did not want to spend much to fully diagnose the issue. I believe it was either a sensor issue or required a new ecm. I lean more towards sensor issue.
