This is my personal channel where I drop my home-made videos that will hopefully help people out there fix things and save money! It's my way of giving back to the Internet which has helped me out so many times.

Sir mene mere monitor ki screen pe bahot sara sanitize maar diya ..... Or screen saaf ki .....fir thodi der chalne ke baad monitor totally black screen ho gaya 🤧..how to fix it ?(hp pavilion 22f)
My 42 in lg tv looks just like yours did before you started touching the ribbons. Thank you for posting this. Now I know which direction to go. And if mine does the same I'm gonna try like you said to make it happy. Thanks again for posting this video. Its the only one that has the same symptoms I have.
This is very helpful Simon. Very clear visibility into the modular design of the screen. It seems applicable to many different brand/models. My LCD screen has the left half with random opaque white problem. I tried to open the cover to check inside as you do but could not. There seems to be glue holding the top cover. But just by pushing on the top cover from the front the problem is gone (until it comes back :D). So I believe it's also due to the ribbons as in your video. All I can assume now is bad contact of the ribbons which are basically signal cables. Locking the ribbons by glue/tape or replacing it with a new one may fix the problem properly. Now I need to figure out how to open the top cover first xD
Hello. Please read this text I live in Iran. I am an electronics engineer. Sanctions against my country have been imposed by the United Nations and the USA. I need electronic equipment such as ESR meters - oscilloscopes - multimeters. These equipments help me a lot in repairing electronic devices. Unfortunately, due to very high inflation, Iran has been ranked fourth in the world. The Iranian currency is the least valuable currency in the world. If I work all day I get paid and rewarded and I want to convert it into dollars. I get less than $ 3 a day. It's really painful. I live in a small town near the border between Iran and Iraq. If I want to go to the center of the country in Tehran to buy from stores, because of the rising dollar, many items can not be found for shopping. I must say that the people of Iran are very kind. . And the main culprits are the men politicians of Iran. They are always wrong. And unfortunately, the people of Iran have to pay for them. The people of my city cannot buy new equipment due to poverty. I have to repair their equipment anyway. I have to say that now I can not pay because of the high rent of shops. That is why I have to work at home. I work in the floor in my own house. I do not have a repair desk. I am repairing the TV , a modem, a receiver, etcon the floor. I have rented a small shop to store the items that people brought for repair, but I can not rent another shop. I have proof to prove this, and now you can get a telegram number. Or give me WhatsApp so that I can send you photos of my situation. I got married a year ago. My wife has been pregnant for 4 months now. But the most important thing is to send you money and buy things. If you can, do not buy them in Akband. Because I can not send you money in dollars. Buy them second-hand so that I can at least send you the money. My contact number is 00989188440206 WhatsApp and Telegram Sajjadmirzaee6@gmail.com thank
Hi guys I just picked up an amp like this one today and have the same problem. I found the capacitor on eBay for £2.89, www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142844505006 hopefully it will help me
Brilliant - exact same problem, this fix did the trick. Part delivered in two days following the Farnell link below from Peter, and fix took less than 5 minutes.
Many thanks, Simon: I had an old Yamaha amplifier which stopped working. Ordered new capacitor from Farnell as a shot in the dark before taking the amp to a recycling centre. They were really helpful - told me exactly which part I needed from what was written on the old capacitor. I'd never soldered a circuit board before, so followed the clear guidance on another You Tube video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AqvHogekDI4.html. No need to remove the circuit board - just turn the amp on its side so the circuit board is horizontal when you solder. Amp is now working like new!
Excellent diagnosis! Here is youtube video which shows similar problem and repair attempt which is pretty successful: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-purk_SyiT44.html
Hey Simon, its me again haha I didn't realize you had to more parts of the original video, it seems to me it worked what you have done so I hope when I do this to my LG 47 led woks like yours, I will let you know, thanks,.you're cool Simon.
Hey Simon, this is a great video, I have a LG 47 Led tv and the left side is good and the right sida has all these soft lines but I still able to see whatever I'm watching anyways I found a video suggesting is the T- Con card or Board but I haven't bought it yet, you also mentioned it in here too but but the video I found didn't mention anything about left and right ribbon function coming out from the T- Con card, I learned this from you know and this small ribbons that you're touching could be hopefully my problem, I'm gonns open it soon and try what you just did and if it works im not gonna buy the T- Con card, anyway did you have any update about this video cuz you published it in 2012 by any chance? And thanks !
Thank you for the video fella..!! My Yamaha DSP Amp developed a power fault a week ago. Symptoms were... It powered up ok then when switched off it had to be unplugged and then plugged in again to power up again. After watching your video I obtained the part you suggested. Fitted it, which took about ten minutes and now my Amp is as good as new..!! Thank you so much for putting this video up. Much appreciated :-)
Hello. I have same model and i had speaker behind the Tv. After 5 years using this Tv, half screen gone blue... after some time the blue color turned into clearer blue, now i see everything behind the heaven blue color, but it is still there. Do you think this will fix my Tv or it's damaged by magnet of the speaker??? When i turn channel with many colors (like some channel with animated movies) the blue screen is hiding.
Hi Simon! Thanks for the video, I've fixed a friend's Yamaha DSP-AX759SE by changing the capacitor as you suggested, & it now turns on & off no problem. He's a very happy bunny! Thanks again
