"..for as little as 50 dollars" I understand this video is for the Western audience but still.. damn you guys are buying 50$ shirts??? That's like a week's pay for some people here.
I have a love hate relationship with my Birkenstocks Arizonas. Sloppy yet my go to when sweaty feet are a problem. If I can handle the closed shoe, camp Mocs (NOT boat shoes) by Rancourt or Sperrys gold cup. As far as tennis shoes go…. On the hunt. Might have to try all birds and new balance. Brooks running shoes might be an option, so sporty though
Cargo shorts are great for walking across the Mexico border carrying purchases you don't want Customs to know about. I like V-Necks for comfort, so I don't have a saggy collar like...... well you'll see it. The hybrid dress shoes are beyond lame, gotta go (but I wore a pair for a wedding in Spain that I could still wear comfortably walking for 6 days in Paris (Sketchers). Black on black, New York City style that is so outdated. In Europe any print tees and sports jerseys says "I'm an American tourist" My advice: Learn to wear a scarf, when and how to wear jewelry, hats with style, pant length, suspenders, and who can wear a short collar and who can't.
Teva's Hurricane series are some of the most comfortable sandals I've worn and done 10 KM + daily walks on vacation. I've also hiked up and down mountains in them. I defiantly recommend them if you need a do it all shoe
Brock, the reason you didnt love the Crocs is because you gotta lean into the culture of them. Wearing them with the strap is called sport mode. It's been scientifically proven that they're 5x more comfortable when you call the form by its official name
I started wearing barefoot style shoes (Xero shoes) and I don’t think I’m ever going back. I’ll also say, even if other people don’t want to try barefoot shoes, it’s wild how narrow so many toe boxes are just for style. It’s clearly bad for your feet to cram the toes together - they should be able to splay and support your body
Yes to every one of your observations. I'd add that grown men wearing two- or three-piece suits with any type of athletic sneaker look like an eight grader whose mom bought him a suit at JC Penny to participate on the middle school debate team but they both ran out of patience before buying him a pair of Hush Puppies. And this trend of wearing suits that are too small look like same boy trying to fit into the same suit for his senior prom. And wearing horizontally striped socks with a suit pant legs that are too short.
You got the wrong Crocs. Order from the Ecco and Mellow collections and you will not hesitate to wear them w/ a pair of shorts and tee to run errands. They just might become your favorite summer, lounging and work from home footwear.
In todays age, if anyone buys allan edmonds, they are complete idiot. One of the worst shoes for price, quality, build. Beckett simonon, bridlen are way better for half of the price. tlb mallorca main line for 320 euros are way better, let alone their artista line for 370 euros.
Registered nurse on his feet all shift weighing in. Hokas basically made it possible for me to work. I don’t personally find them good looking but they seem very popular at the moment
I wish Atoms would release their shoes in wide width because they look great and I can't do non wide width anymore. I mostly stick to the zero drop and minimalist shoe brands because my feet rarely feel good in narrow toe box shoes. I'm glad someone in the fashion space tried them and didn't poop all over them.
Hi Brockman, been watching for a long time! I was wondering if you could do a video or blog on shiny vs matte clothes. EX: Typical dress pants vs chinos. Typical dress shirt vs OCBDs. Shiny might come off as more professional whereas matte clothes can been seen as more relaxed. Thoughts?
No man should ever wear shoes that you can't be physically active in if the situation calls for it. You should always be able to, at a moment's notice, run a mile or fight off someone trying to harass your family. Core to a man's function is that of protector. If you think you can do those things in Crocs or Chacos... be my guest lol.
Two things as a relative newcomer to your channel: 1. I'd love you to go through your desktop setup - you briefly showed it here but I'm curious about the organization/placement of your desk and office setup. 2. Completely unrelated but you have a great voice for ASMR like they have on meditation apps.
Giesswein is an Austrian company so follow German pronunciation. When e and i occur together in German you pronounce the second letter, so Giesswein is pronounced Geese-wine, or Geese-vine if you are going for full authenticity.
Having used the Hoka Clifton 8 for a year, I can tell you that it is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. It is the best choice for daily wear and running
@@BrockMcGoff yeah, my situation was a bit different to yours. I had this growing corn thing under my foot and long story short two minor surgeries didn't fix it, figured out it was due to my bunion and playing crap ton of soccer in squished shoes. I got vivobarefoot after researching a lot and the transition wasn't 100% pain free. Ball of my feet hurt for like 2 or 3 weeks but I did get like 4mm sole shoe so yeah. But no blisters, no hurting feet in any other way, just felt like I was working out my feet a bit too much too early. Now even vivobarefoot seems narrow to me after finding out other brands. Can you please look more into this style of footwear because it's literally changing people's lives, and i honestly believe it can change yours too if you put in a bit of effort into strengthening your feet even if you're older. Otherwise we have to wear orthotics like arch support for the rest of our lives while our feet get weaker and weaker. Lems boulder boots look good but I'm not the style expert here :)
