You're my hero! I come from Fuji and switched to Panasonic FF and can't wait until the Lab app is available for the S5 II. This workaround will do for the mean time. Sadly, the real problem with Panasonic is its marketing, or the lack there off. Yes, Fuji's film simulations are nice, but I think that Panasonic is up to something with this app. Now it only needs to get more popular. And for a matter of fact, I saw S9 SOOC pictures which looked as nice or even nicer (more film like) than what I've seen with Fujifilm.
You basically said to share the luts from the app and then put them onto your camera manually - that isn’t really using the camera with the Labs app directly as the title implies
@@2kstyles Give the guy a break. He’s just produced the clearest video on how to manage the workflow between the S5ii and the Lumix Lab app, given that the S5ii isn’t directly supported yet which he explains in the video. Also, he never stated that there would be a direct workflow in his title - that’s your assumption.
I’m a bit confused, you said if you’re a photographer not to look at micro 4/3 because of what full frame is capable of, and for video the af is no good, so in what case should I want to go m43?
i mean it when i say sherlock is one of the best series i've ever watched. i've never been so intrigued while watching it. this series deserves more seasons then 4. this video reminded me of how great this show actually is! this is quality content that just like the show deserves more attention!
I am a portrait landscape photographer in that I take portraits out in the wild and micro 4/3 has a couple other advantages. The first is lens size. Next is the absolute insane weathersealing and toughness, and last is the ability to actually traverse into the wild with your camera. I keep a canon r8 Stuffed in my bag just for a low light close-ups outside of that, nobody can tell the difference between an Olympus picture and a canon picture even my friends that are professional Cannon photographers.
If you're planning on using this for streaming just know that even with the Monthly subscription you can't play songs from singers like Just Bieber, Bring Me the Horizon, Drake etc. Because celebrities have their songs labeled as premium. So no playing mainstream music to jam to while livestreaming and gaming. All the subscription does is give access to mid background audios and discounts the cost of premium tracks. If you're a Streamer then lickd ain't it unless you like the tracks they have that aren't *cough* premium.
@Prof.Albusdumbledore Nah you can't play copyrighted music while streaming even with this subscription. You can use this subscription to use copyrighted music for RU-vid videos, they offer a section of music for livestreaming that isn't the same as Justin Bieber or other celebrities. If your friend was able to play Justin on stream it's probably because they dont care or they've figured out the loop hole which is to not have the music playing through the track that saves to your VODs which is what everyone is doing to avoid getting copyright striked and their vods muted.
I assumed this was a channel had multi-million followers/subscribers based on the production quality and research done. I'm shocked and dismayed to find that you hare so underrated.
This really gave me mixed feelings. At the same time it was nice and calm, like one of those mornings when you don't have rush anywhere. But it also had quite tired atmosphere which annoyed me a bit because I personally hate mornings if I have to wake up tired, and the smoking part reminded me from the time when I used to smoke and I just needed to get a cigarette at morning even though I didn't quite enjoy smoking at morning because it hit so hard at the first thing at the morning. You quite well captured the mood of mornings
I don't know which one is which, but there is a distinct difference between the two. A is more "normal mode", and B is able to catch sun rays beautifully. 10/10 would personally chose B ♥
After a year of mft i can fully say that it is worst than worst.. i should have go full frame .. mft suck so much ..sensor size change everything ..i Will be mad at myself for long time ..until i get a full frame ..
Why do you think that full frame would be that much better? I'm leaving full frame, this lie that full frame is so amazing and MFT sucks just make people waste money on gear, which they don't even need. If you can't make great content with MFT gear, then full frame won't save you, sorry.
@@shmuelaryehkoltov241 mft suck It sucks for many many many reason ..the first is the sensor size . You cannot film in a small room and expect to film you subject entirely .it is impossible you need to be verry verry far with a wide angle ..and if you do ,then you can say adios to you beautiful bokeh..adios to shallow dept of field .. you just dont understand the limitation of the mft .. and your trying to tell me what to think lollll yeah right Continue to film your subject from 30 feet away with your mft . The day you Will have a job in a small room and you cannot mamage to film more than the face of your subject because of your mft sensor size remember me !! When you Will loose all you beautiful blurry background from your shallow deep of field because you take wide angle lense to compensate your small sensor remember me..
@@shmuelaryehkoltov241 People like you made me spend 2000 fu c k ing box on a mft thinking ff was à waste of money ..now i am stuck with it. And i regret beleiving People that dosent want to understand fact ..the more you pay, the better you have ..thats it ..
@@redakumaproduction blurry backgrounds are a crutch bad photographers/videographers have to lean on, when they can't get their composition right. Even with full frame getting the background blurred out is difficult with wide angle lenses. There are plenty of wide angle lenses for MFT, just take a look at the Laowa lenses. But I get it, you're not that skilled, so the camera has to compensate. If you have the money, go for it. But the lack of good results is not because of the MFT system, that simply comes down to your lack of capabilities behind the camera.
@@shmuelaryehkoltov241 you refuse to understand ..continue to spend 10k on a v6 challenger thinking its the same as spending 100k on a hellcat ..your right .. lol
Advancements in computational photography and sensor technology will slowly chip away at the perceived (or real) benefits of the big, heavy, and expensive full frame cameras. Just look at how the iPhone technology has improved . Check out Buddy Eleazar's wildlife photography.
even if this video is a few years old it has lots of great info and frankly, it's so well made that it's easy to watch. This 'easy to watch' quality is something that a lot of people seem to forget when they're making their film.
HI. You talk about a microphone or anything on top of your camera limiting the gimbals movement - what about a flip screen that is folded out/opened up? Do you find this can inhibit movement of the gimbal also?
I know, it’s 2022, three years after this was filmed but I just came to the same conclusion for my photography needs. The new features in PS, ON1 etc. allowing for 4-10 times in resolution gains in image resize options make it no brainer. I will gladly sell my two nap sacks of full frame digital gear! Cheers
