Lets crack open the mystery: Notice how everyone was on the “road” when they entered the town? The carousel, the looping road, they are stuck. Where? Stuck in the wheel of karma. Trauma generates karma, karma is guilt. The town is actually there to help them heal from the trauma. Remember the Matthews lost a child, so to heal they must save a child. So now you can see how the monsters are helping Boyd. Boyd can't save everyone, that's his trauma, when he realizes that he is free. That's why the tree appeared leading him to Martin, if he kills martin (like martin asked) he heals his trauma. Now you can basically map out every character's trauma and solution to that trauma. The phone? The call from Thomas, Jim is ready to heal, so the boy in white and his tree will appear soon, and give him the chance to heal.
Theon and hodor were pretty sad, I didn’t even like hodor lol. Jamie and Cersi were sad lol very beginning we saw them I def was sad Jamie was just in love. Summer’s death has to be up there I cried like a baby. Scenes wise the whole last season was sad as shit shit. Bran had some short lines that broke a mf down talking to the people he still cares about
It took me almost an hour of constant pausing just to make it thru that final scene. One reason for poor miss and the amount of suffering she endured during her final moments and second for Kenny. He not only looses his dad but finds out the one responsible for his death wasn’t put into the box but took into hiding and also got his heart broken seeing the one he fell for loving on her fiancé. Then turn around and loos his momma.
Very good analysis of Andy and ALIEN: ROMULUS. I saw the movie again this past weekend and I get more enjoyment out of it after every re-watch. ALIEN: ROMULUS is now one of my favorite movies in the ALIEN franchise. I rate it just behind ALIEN (1979) and ALIENS (1986).🤓👍
He's a crappy author and it's taken him nearly 3 decades to not finish a series that he has openly admitted he only started to fill with scenes of gratuitous sex and violence. It's the equivalent of jingling your car keys and Americans thinking you're a genius.
@@houseofnettles i mean, the last bit yes. I wouldn't call it extra mean, but American television can be summarised with sitcoms like "2 broke girls" and "the big bang theory". A lot of their television and storylines are oversimplified and filled with nonsensical, dramatic shite. Ed Sheeran made a cameo ffs.
@@vevaren8155 Your personal experience is correct for yourself. There is no way for one person to watch the diverse array of television that we silly Americans have the pleasure of enjoying. Have a good time with your "superior" tv and film
@@houseofnettles except for the people around who you see you watching things equivacol to 'The Tweenies'. It's like pissing your pants. We can all see it and smell it, but you're happy enjoying the warm feeling.
@@vevaren8155 I Don't understand what the Tweenies is. It's unfortunate my palate of TV is not your cup of tea, but there are plenty of channels that will have the stuff you are looking for. Good luck with your search.
Great breakdown, and analysis of Alien: Romulus, and the character Andy - I fully agree with your take on Andy's decision (This is a really great film).
I don't think those arrows were for the literal dragons, I think they were for the figurative dragons, Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys. Because if those three were killed, there's no one to mount the literal dragons. And we know there is some magic to weirwood arrows / bows from Bloodraven when he used his weirwood bow against his half-brother Daemon Blackfrye. I love how Martin leaves these sort of things for all kinds of interpretations
Robert was dying. If it wasn't the boar, it would be a stray arrow, or someone would accidentally stab him, or he would choke on his wine aka poison he wasnt getting out alive from that forest
If Robert hadn't died, I reckon it'd have been a race to who can kill who the fastest between Cersei and the Lannister guards vs Robert and whoever Robert thinks to talk to before/while running to Cersei in a blind rage
Its all stupid imo. " Seed is strong" would have been known for hundreds of years. Longer. Baratheon black hair gene was stronger than Targaryen silver/ gold gene. Everyone in court would know them twins were banging and when 1 baratheon came out with blond hair they'd be wondering wtf, but 3?
The last Baratheon/Targ marriage was three generations ago, Robert’s grandparents. No one would have remembered it, and they only had one child. Robert’s mother likely had light brown or blonde hair, and people did understand recessive traits to a certain extent (Robb Stark looks entirely like a Tully, but no one questions his paternity)
honestly, I think Robert knew and didn't care like 1000% didn't care about anything anymore. not the kingdom, not his succession, not the legitimacy of his heir. I feel like ned would have told him and he would have said "I don't care, it doesn't matter to me. everything that mattered to me is in a tomb in the north."
Not true. He literally feared Jofrrey suceeding him. Thats why he didnt go to be a sellsword because the thought of joffrey ruling with cersei at his ear terrified him.
Not true, he genuinely believed Joffrey was his son and was afraid of what King Joffrey would do. That’s why he asked Ned to look out for Joffrey. He knew what Joffrey was and would become. And Robert by no means was a push over. He would’ve dealt with the Lannisters for passing bastards off as Legitimates. And seeing as he didn’t love Cersei, he would’ve had her and therefore Jaime killed. Probably Tywin too because he’d have to. I don’t think he would’ve killed the children. He just needed people he liked, trusted and respected to advise him. Ned Stark.
@@joshuadepaz6659he hated the idea of Joffrey inheriting, but not enough to do anything about it. He didn’t care what happened after he died because he did nothing to change it
@@emilybarclay8831Stannis would 100% force the issue Robert may not care but if it's made public he will have to act. The reality is if Robert survives the kids are at minimum disinherited and Cersi is deleted.
