There’s also something called the Boiled Leather reading order. A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons actually take place concurrently. People have figured out the chronological order of the chapters of the two books and you can follow along with the story in order.
I did that in my first reading, because I didn't want an entire book without reading about Jon, Tyrion and Dany, but because of the number of characters it was really slow, it's better to read one and then the other
