Hello, I have a Vibe 25a gas stove. I have a problem with turning on the stove.The furnace has a problem with starting. When I hit the integrated circuit board, the furnace starts.The question is which relay is responsible for starting the furnace.
Thank you. This worked for me. I had powerd off several times. I was bleeding radiators and increasing the water pressure. Nothing worked apart from this. Nice one. Probably saved me a nasty bill.
Thank you. One small additional bit of info. I had to keep turning my dial past the power symbol to the "radiator with a line through it" symbol. Then it reset. Thanks again.
Jay, I wish I could buy you a pint or two - I came home from work and could hear a gurgling sound coming the boiler. Sussed out it was likely the condensate trap blocked, it was, so I removed and cleaned it, draining a fair amount of water from the condenser in the process. Unfortunately after rebuilding it wouldn't fire up, I eventually found this video and it's now back working! Legend!
Thank you! I can't believe this actually worked, for some reason I was convinced it just wouldn't work for me, but problem solved! I came home this evening after a week away and boiler had exactly the same issue. Can't believe a solution this simple fixed it. Engineers don't want you to know this one simple trick, and for good reason haha
Thank you for this. I have the Excel 29 which had stopped due to frozen condensate pipe. I emptied the condendate and like you, turned the power off and on to no avail. I also had not noticed the power symbol on the dial. Turned it off and on again with the dial and hey presto ! Sorted.
Hi, so I take it you've tried the restart as in the video? Failing that make sure it has power an gas supply, and the water pressure is above 1, let me know if you get it sorted, best wishes

Green light is good, I'm guessing it just needs the temperature turning up on the remote? But I'm no heating expert, just hope you get it sorted as no1 needs the boiler playing up at this time of year
Thanks mate you’re a life saver! My elderly mum has this boiler. It had turned off and I couldn’t get it to restart. I was thinking I’d call an engineer but as you say, I thought I’d have a look at You Tube first and found your video.
Had the same problem 2 months ago, had to call engineer to fox it. Same problem today and watched your video and bingo! The little power reset symbol is easily missable! Thanks for the help, mate!
hello. i am living in a shared house and the house has the same model, normally when it buil water you only can see one red light in the top( the top one) sometimes it stop to buil water without know why, and the light number 3 is one in red and the top one in green and it doesnt warn up the water
To be honest I only put this video up on RU-vid to help others who might come across the same issue, I don't claim to be a heating or boiler engineer, what I have found with mine thou is if you run the cold tap anywhere in the house the boiler will fire up straight after...Not sure why that is but it's never bothered me
So we had a power cut, found the little notch to switch it to like you suggested but it still goes back to red afterwards, tried running water and everything like you guys have suggested. From my slight experience I feel like I'm missing the pilot light clicking on, it feels like it wants to fire up, but I have no idea even if we can do anything about it. I've not lived in this house through the winter (I rent) so I haven't the foggiest and it seems even engineers that come out to you guys don't either! Bit worried to say the least, any help would be appreciated
@@lolpot7780 hi, there's not really much more I can suggest really other than have you tried any other gas appliances in the house to make sure there is gas? If other gas appliances work and the on/off switch doesn't work then I'm guessing the boiler has some sort of fault and you should contact a heating engineer, hope you get it sorted soon
@@vixxy9255 inline with the pipe, in this case vertical, means open, turned so across the pipe, in this case horizontal, means closed. Yellow is the colour used to identify gas. If the yellow valve has been in the off position, gas off, and the boiler has tried to fire up the boiler will decide that there is a fault as it won't be able to light or stay lit (if it does initially light) due to no gas supply and will need resetting - as per the video; turn the left hand dial anticlockwise to 9 o'clock (as per a clock face), which is power off, for a couple of seconds then turn the dial back to the required setting. Incidentally turning the dial anticlockwise to 7 o'clock(ish), where the tap symbol is, turns the central heating off but allows the boiler to function for hot water only, known as summer mode. So irrespective of what the thermostat and timer might be telling the boiler to do the heating will not come on as central heating is deactivated at the boiler.
Thank you thank you thank you!!! I had problems with my gas meter and after the engineer recommissioned the meter, the boiler just would not reset. I did what you did and ran the hot tap and hey presto!!! Light turned green. Thank you so much for uploading this!
I have been using this boiler for two months without any problems until the gas went off today. No hot water this morning and radiators seemed ok, until i looked at the boiler and saw the red alarm bell light. Switched system off and it didn't work. Tried the dial to power icon (bit stiff at first but clicked with a little pressure) and turned thermostat up high. It's firing on high now so fingers crossed! Thanks for sharing.
Had a panic call from my daughter earier today. Boiler had stopped working. No heating or hot water. Just a static red light. Googled model number. Found your video. Same boiler, same problem. Turned knob as per your discovery. Boiler reset itself and is now working perfectly. You have my gratitude.
