Glitchy original music, emotionally complex gear videos.

hand movements are creepy. And why the flokk would I want my guitar to sound like a really bad imitation of The Who or any other insrument? Especially the synth thing has been old since Tom M. "no synthesisers were used in the making of this record" was 1992...
For that extra slushy sound (like snakefinger ones!), go for that Korg guitar synth from the 80's (the x911?)? You'll have plenty of it, of all sorts! The grail of 'slushy'/ first guitar synth attempt...!
Try this: gated fuzz > bitcrusher > low pass filter > big reverb. Maximum crackle and pop, every note sounds like you're unplugging/plugging your input jack. Throw in a loop of just passive hiss from a cranked distortion/open fuzz for good measure.
Cool tips as starting points! Thank you for sharing. I've been searching for a way to achieve this kind of effect (with pedals) for years! This one, is the one that comes closer to what I want ! Thank you for the tips, will try some of them. In one of Zappa's solos records (from "Shut up and play your guitar"), there's a similar effect (kinda). He said he used 'his Blue Box' (probably custom made), but nothing comes as close as this pedal. Boss Rules again ! Take care!
Ring modulation is the one right out on the far side of the "standard" FX and one I have never been able to like. Never. This is the first time I've ever heard it used musically. You've got me thinking. 🤔
Hey, fellow musician Cyberattack!.. YOUR Creativity has given birth to MY Creativity!!.. Watching Your video gave me a great idea!... I'm going to BUY a Simple, inexpensive, momentary tap switch, a tap button, MOUNT IT to my Strat pickguard up high near the point, and WIRE IT IN SERIES, WITH THE OUTPUT SIGNAL!.. SO, the Stutter-Switch EFFECT, You had to take your hand OFF the guitar to USE, I, will be ABLE to TAP, right THERE, NEXT to my Pickups!.. AND, because it was Your creativity that BRED the IDEA, YOU can USE IT, on Your guitar, if you like with NO fear of copyright or trademark issues!.. ALL I ASK, is if you USE the idea and make a bunch of money, I'd LOVE to have a Les Paul Black Beauty, or ANY Les Paul, with the switch installed!
Excellent video. I think the point that struck me the most was standing out through sonic originality while doing things with meaning and purpose. I needed to hear that. Respect.
