I feel like I will enjoy giving my opinion to the world, I am mainly a gamer but my passion lies within sports such as the NBA and the Chicago Bulls. I'm fine with this deal. when you see its over 5 years, first its under 20M which shows some value, and second what this says is we want to have patrick into his prime years just to ensure we get him if and when his talent explodes. reminds me of what I had wanted Lauri to do for us. I wanted to see Lauri show he'd be willing to be a team player and resign for under 20M, but he didn't. the biggest thing for patrick is consistently being offensive minded both shooing the 3ball and also trying to get "easy" points in the paint
One would hope Williams rises to the occasion. I think continuing to play with his friends Coby and Ayo will inspire him to play at a high level. Adding Giddey and Matas just builds on this strong young core. At this point holding on to either Zach or Vooch as a veteran voice and producer will be fine but we need to move one of them so we can build our defensive profile. Nice video aidan.
P. Willy is a good defender and a consistent 3 point shooter! So this is about market value for P. Willy my ninja!!!! I love me some P. Willy ( no homo)!!!!
I agree I think what I see. Here is a $19 million contract for five years then $19 million half of it goes to the government with taxes if not close to half so basically he’s getting only 8 million at the end of the day negative part is that I feel like he still hasn’t proven anything, but this is his chance to restart regroup and refresh
Bulls will make finals - lot of East teams are getting weaker....Giddey is never injured and if Bulls gets dynamics right - a young core in the playoffs would be an outstanding outcome. Giddey, White, La Vine, Williams & Buzelis.
I'm happy to see Josh Giddy with the Bulls Aidan he has a really good set of skills that the Bulls need. I'm sad to see Alex Caruso go but Josh Giddy is much younger and maybe a change of environment could be good for both players
As fans, we can only hope that anything the Bulls do at this point would turn out to be good and positive. Initial goal would be to just make the Playoffs next season. GoodluckBulls.
Sometimes we have to get worse in order to get better. Sometimes you have to take two steps back to be able to take 5 steps forward. I very much doubt we are a playoff team next year. We could still be a play in team but playoffs is a crazy stretch. But if we do suck next year and in future years, those years will help us gradually improve and become the contenders we need and want to be!!!
Zach is our best 3 point shooter but Zach’s agent has said publicly he doesn’t want to be in Chicago. It’s also specifically why I didn’t add him into the starting lineup. I say the reason I didn’t add Zach to the lineup is because Zach doesn’t want to be here and it’s becoming increasingly known that the Bulls are leaning towards a trade also. Outside of Zach, Coby is the best 3 point shooter we have. It’s not because he shoots the most but it’s because of the shot profile and ability he has from 3 compared to anyone else. He is able to get his shot off the quickest, can hit it from deep and doesn’t have to be in a catch and shoot position to make them like the majority of our other players.
The point of the video is too show that the starting 5 we have now is not good enough and how we need to make changes. That makes a lot of sense in my eyes but each to their own. Also I don’t follow a, ‘Narrative.’ Im a bulls fan giving an opinion on things and thats all I want to do. I’ll leave narratives to those whose job is to write them.
I like the pick. Very high upside. Very versatile on both offense and defense. Rebounds, can slash and beat opponents off the dribble, even a decent assist guy. Only 19, so he'll get stronger. Biggest worry is his 3 point shooting, but that can be worked on. Jimmy Butler became a great offensive player after starting out being mainly known for his defense. Zach Lavine became a good 3 point shooter when he's healthy. He didn't start out that way. Nothing'a for sure, but this kid is more than worth taking a chance on. He may even push Dalen Terry and Patrick Williams (if he stays) to improve.
Can u imagine if Zo is ok.. Zo at the 1 and Coby at 2 and Giddey at the 3 and Matas at the 4 and lets say if Vooch is still around.. our ball movement will be amazing.
We probably will have much better ball movement but I still believe we won’t be a great team next season. We will probably go for a top 10 pick next year.
Hes such a great fit, personality wise, with the young core we have. Do you think we will keep LaVine? I think we will, and trade vuc and demar. Thats a shocking turn of events if it works out that way.
I think we get rid of all of them at this point tbh. Zach would fit well here but he already wants out and I can’t see that changing if we trade Vooch then let go of DeMar in free agency.
There may have been but I don’t think we can deny this was a decent pick for the Bulls. I wouldn’t have mind seeing Dalton on the Bulls either as I thought he is very talented.
Edy would be interesting, but is not really able to defend quicker players with his slow lateral movement. That said it would be nice having a real big, who does have a decent upside. I do not see Clingan being available at 11. I would accept Cody Williams but would prefer Kelal Ware.
Trade demar and vooch 1 Giddey 2 White 3 LaVine 4 Williams 5 Capela [or any other center who can either play good defense and or shoot and rebound better. We dont need Voochs passing anymore] BENCH - Lonzo, Ayo, Javonte Green (i hope), Terry, Phillips, and i think we will draft a Center
Lavine doesn’t want to stay here and I don’t think Capela is the right player to go for if we aim to go younger. I like the idea of these moves but I still believe all that will take us to the play in like before. We need massive changes!!!
Even when healthy, there are games wherehe's almost invisible. Given his size and athleticism, he should get more rebounds than he does and slash more to the basket. He can be so unagressive at times on the offensive end. Yes, worth keeping for his 3 and D, but underachieving in other aspects.
patrick can be a lot better than what he's shown thus far. check my old messages in the chat cuz I'm always consistent. The instant we got him I said I would rather we went with the "sure thing" but I said he's a good defender and a MUCH better shooter than ppl give him credit for and he himself may not think he's a good shooter. ppl for some dumb reason were comparing him to Kawhi???? I always said his lane at present should aim to be more like a Blake Griffin. I always believed and still believe he could be and should be an upgrade for Vuc. In other words points in the paint and also shoot the 3 and we obv get a sizable improvement in defense
Comparing him too Vooch is a bit weird, different position and much different playing style. That said, Pat can be better in the future and maybe this younger core can show that.
@@AidansBullsShow I never feel like we're prepared. The 76ers have money and a decent roster and I feel like we have neither. A lot of ppl say we will get Carter but I wonder if that gets in Coby's way. Do you see the new acquisitions getting involved early or will they be rotting on the bench?
Lonzo needs time. He needs time to get back to 100% health and 100% form on the court. He will most likely be on minutes restrictions and game restrictions also. That’s if he even comes back. Reports suggest we could be interested in a buyout.
I think the Bulls played very well wihh Vooch, Caruso, Ball and Lavine....... until Ball got hurt. Alloowing hindsight in this analysis, the Ball signing ended up being far, far worse than Lavine or Vooch, I would also rate the hiring of the Bulls management team (AK and Eversley) has not worked and might have been a bigger mistake than the choice of coach.
Yeah but i didn’t want to add Lonzo in there because it was such a unique situation. Let’s just say in 2 years we have a chance to trade for an aging center to try and compete, we can look at this Vooch trade and try to learn from history. If in 2 years we have a chance to sign someone similar to Ball in free agency, I find it hard to believe we can look at Lonzo Ball’s situation and learn from it because of how rare something like that is. Hopefully that makes sense.
Jerry not selling the team. Trading away jimmy. Not firing GarPax sooner. Not benching/trading Mirotic before they went on that short run. Several draft selections. Hiring Boylen. Hiring Billy. Trading for Vooch. More poor draft selections. Not moving on from guys before their value plummeted. Not making moves to improve the team I know i’m missing a lot more too.
For me it’s:1.not trading Nicco and letting jim get those 6 wins that hurt our draft odds( maybe we could have got Luka who knows) 2 the biggest mistake of all is hiring and extending Boylen- he ruined Lauri, Wendell didn’t trust Coby .made us the laughing stock of the league.he ruined the initial rebuild 3.drafting PAT as 4 pick instead of Halliburton .imagine if we could have had him .4. Vuch trade 5 .continuity not seeing in 2023 at the trade deadline where we are going- trading LaVine to Knicks, trading AC for massive package trading Drummond for picks trading maybe Demar for something .imagine if these moves were made maybe this team would still make the play in just with better future.
Id start Giddy. Why wouldn't a guy who started on the best team in the west record wise not start on the play in bulls???? I think white will come off the bench and let lavine start to simply get his value up to trade him at the deadline. That would be the smart approach
So let me get this right, coby play point guard last year at a All-Star level almost turning the boys season around Josh what's benched and he was the worst player on OKC are you going to bring him here and start him over a player that should have won comeback player of the year LOL y'all sound ridiculous
I highly doubt you will see Coby come off the bench. Zach still wants to leave the Bulls so unless we are plain ignorant, Zach will be gone before the season begins. Rumors suggest there are 15 teams discussing a LaVine trade. I am highly confident he will leave before the trade deadline. Coby was our 2nd best player last season and was a most improved runner up. We will miss certain skills he has at PG but I still think he has much to offer at the starting sg position. They more then likely start together then steal each others role.
Because it’s just easy to look better in a better all round team with SGA and a bunch of two way players like the Celtics. It’s useless comparing team performances in this context. Giddey would have to earn his place too
Ayo is a good 3 point shooter but it’s been one season. Pat has been consistently good from behind the 3 point line and Coby just has more shot profile than any of them from 3.
@@AidansBullsShow his 3 was good the previous year. He just went through a slump the second half of the season! You're giving Coby too much credit! He was terrible after the All Star break! He turns the ball over too much and too many dumb 3 pt attempts. Coby is a good sixth man! He's not a starter on a championship team, unless he's the fourth or fifth best player in the starting lineup
Maybe in the future but he is nowhere near it right now. He isn’t close to the defender Caruso is and he has more air balls then made 3’s. (Idk if that’s true but he misses a lot.)
The only way I'd be willing to accept Giddey at the 1 is if they run it back exactly as they did last season. Minus AC. If Pat and Demar return. This is the worst outcome imo. 1.)Giddey 2.)Coby 3.)Demar 4.)Pat 5.)Vooch If Demar Leaves and Pat resigns. 1.)Coby 2.)Ayo 3.)Pat 4.)Giddey 5.)Vooch or new drafted Center If neither Demar or Pat return it'll be like this. 1.)Coby 2.)Ayo 3.)Giddey 4.)Phillips 5.)Vooch or new drafted Center. the second is my preferred option.
Putting Giddey off ball is the worst thing you can do to him. It’s the exact reason why he failed at OKC. He will be the ball handler and playmaker if DeMar goes. It doesn’t make sense to chuck a horrible 3 point shooter in the corner. He may be able to guard bigger sized athletes on defense (that’s a stretch) but on offense, he will most likely be the point guard.
@@ttoleafoa70Nothing will ever replace the production AC gave us on the court. Its hard to say what the bulls will do from here. A 2-way center would be good but are they trying to draft for that? Also do they plan on resigning Javonte? No idea on answers with either.
@@ThatOldSchoolMagic Nobody said anybody can, but when we're 24th in defense without Caruso and 2nd with him, I'd hope we get pieces to try and alleviate that loss. Giddey and Vooch at the 4 and 5 is just depressing from a defensive standpoint. But only time will tell how the roster shapes up. I'm all for switching out the oldies and maybe just keeping one veteran
Hes like a younger Lonzo with worse playmaking, terrible 3 point shooting, a penchant for teenagers, and youth. Im trying to be optimistic but my fiance is ready to write off her Bulls fandom over this 🤦♂️
Same 3P% at the same age homie. Giddey doesn't get hurt all the time as well. Also, stfu about the teenager thing, he was also a teenager at the time. Last I checked NBA and cops found no evidence of any wrong doing.
Idk if I can say he has worse playmaking than Lonzo. They are just different types of playmakers. He 100% needs to improve his 3 point shooting and this should be a trade that signals us going in a younger and potentially worse direction. Tell your fiancé that we at least have a hope in the future even if the present looks bleak. Also I am not going to judge Giddey on something I know little about. It’s just not in my nature to do that. I trust the law, the NBA and the police handles the situation to the best of their capabilities. If OKC deemed him worthy to play for their franchise then I believe he shouldn’t have any issue playing in ours.

The AC-JG trade most likely mean that Demar is leaving. Coby, Ayo are born in 2000, Josh 2002, Pwill 2001. Demar is born 1989. There is no point keeping old guys anymore.
@@jdh9676 Dumbest? 🙂 The core of this team is younger now, their prime starts after 3 years. Demar and Vuc are too old at that time. Trade them and try get players who fit the timeline and give them responsibility.
Well what’s what we expect to happen but AK is full of surprises. Like I mentioned if this is the only deal we do, I’ll be AK out. Even if we don’t go younger, it’s clear this starting 5 is completely out of touch with modern basketball
