What I said we noticed is that nobody has listened to this in years. In this day and age we need to laugh a lot more. Believe me I know full well it can be very difficult to laugh when you're going through trials. There is still good clean humor that you can laugh at. I first saw the recording of this at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY 32 years ago I have listened to it a few times over the many years and everytime I get hysterical with laughter. I just listened to it a few minutes ago and they got the same reaction out of me 😊😊😊😊😊
I'm way too young (36) to be saying this but comedy was SOOOO much better back in the day. Abbott & Costello, Red Skelton, Tim Conway & Harvey Korman just to name a few.
This skit is funny enough on its own, but then when you're entire family bloodline comes from New Jersey/NYC area and you literally have family members who sound exactly like Lou Costello, this skit is tear jerkingly hysterical.
I might be 11 years too late with that comment, but i was in sector A, the one on your leftside, and I remember you guys were impressive, considering you weren't that many. It was lovely to hear some of your songs even for a short while. Thanks for the upload and best regards from Varna, Bulgaria. :)
Mr. Who is on first. Mr. What is on second. Mr. I don't know is on third. Mr. Why is the outfielder. Mr. Tomorrow is the pitcher. Mr. Today is the catcher. Mr. I don't give a damn is the shortstop.
Check out the skit they did for world of warcraft in honor of this skit, equally as funny lol: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2ekLO8BwxwE.html
This sketch is all about delivery, and no one did it better than Abbott and Costello. Have two different people try and do this piece, and chances are it doesn't come off nearly as well.
