It's interesting to watch Lou make a mistake on the "Tommorrow/Today" section, and they both smile as they get back on track. Pure genius and total professionalism.
John Bezz I absolutely LOVE Bob Newhart, but his Sir Walter routine pales in comparison to “Who’s on First.” Shouldn’t be mentioned in the same sentence (or paragraph).

LOVE these guys! When I was in first grade, I went through a huge Abbott and Costello phase, and would come to school dressed in a suit and bowler hat every day just like Lou wore...I just about drove my best friend crazy! :D
Ahhh i remember when i used to watch re-runs of these guys with my mom and dad on the tele god this was my favorite skit they did this and the loafing one
What I said we noticed is that nobody has listened to this in years. In this day and age we need to laugh a lot more. Believe me I know full well it can be very difficult to laugh when you're going through trials. There is still good clean humor that you can laugh at. I first saw the recording of this at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY 32 years ago I have listened to it a few times over the many years and everytime I get hysterical with laughter. I just listened to it a few minutes ago and they got the same reaction out of me 😊😊😊😊😊

This sketch has inspired so many comedians over the years. The timing is impeccable yet they can slip in the odd variation, I reckon they used to say it in their sleep.
This skit is funny enough on its own, but then when you're entire family bloodline comes from New Jersey/NYC area and you literally have family members who sound exactly like Lou Costello, this skit is tear jerkingly hysterical.
i miss tv as a kid, simple, funny and you tired then went outside to play. I love those shows that take place in NYC. My birthplace and where I grew up. all of us, regardless of where we came from, have great stories as kids. I love sharing my stories of stickball, street football and alleys with friends that grew up in the burbs and rural America and hearing their adventures. somehow I'm glad we didn't have internet

I just showed this to my 23-year-old son. I was amazed that he had already seen it, but he still laughed hysterically. I'm sure Abbott and Costello had no idea that almost 80 years after they first performed this in Vaudeville, it would be so famous!
man, I actually relistened to this on a cassette at my grandparents house all the time when I was a kid. Really great, can't stop laughing. favorite part is "sometimes his wife picks it up." "who's wife?" "yes"
the truly amazing part is that this skit was adlibbed every single time they performed it, even when they worked it into a script the script simply said "whos on first skit"
Bud messes up the Today/Tomorrow line at 5:38. But on live tv, they quickly recover and go on with the sketch. Priceless, unmatched comedy from the masters.
oh i remember seeing this the hall of fame in cooperstown new york now its just something i watch to remember my trip there .. unforgettable baseball is the greatest.
Classic Comedy...No swearing,insulting,name calling, sexist jokes,racial stereotypes, ext, .When you can make them.laugh without all of the dirt ....you are a real Comedian,.This is not easy stuff!
