2 years late but if he had a LD28 3.1 stroke he can possibly make more power not sure piston size probably 87mm or 89mm ? But its been done before 500 horsepower and border line 600 horsepower especially with 1000cc and an OS Giken Diff and rear axles he can even use a 370z diff the 240z all the way to 280zx diffs hates 300 to 600 horsepower especially the RB or LS or 2j and even L28 turbo swaps so most folks do this diff swap i think theres kits for it as well also theres a 350z tranny adapter plate for L26 and L28 engines . Why a 370z diff ... because my uncles 2jz 240z oem diff left the chat on him know what i think your customer is good where hes at lol
Im curious if you installed the transmission tune on the car also... its recommended that you also retune the trans to adjust the powercurve in the gearing.
@@DyNomadMobileTuning my first bimmer was an 87 325is. Miss that bucket. Now I've owned 7 different bimmers. Currently 03 E46 325i & 08 135i. The modern version of the E30.
Last time I saw that BMW it was sitting on your lift with a big hole near the trans. So happy to see it running finally!!! Sounds slick! But brother. You got some grey hairs going. Going to have to get together soon to tune the wifes CRV
Love the video... Curious if your buckets show any delamination issues with the GSC S1 cam, or are they coated? My JZ with the GSC started marking up the shimless buckets fairly quickly.
