Thanks for checking out 4C Hair Transformations by Trina
The bi-weekly content will share shampoo & moisturizing techniques, product reviews, protective stylings, the best protocols for length retension, and how to grow thicker, longer and healthier 4C natural hair at any age. The condition of our hair reflects nutritional needs; therefore, nutrition is a vital part of a healthy hair journey.
After starting my own 4C natural hair journey in 2019, I realize it was the best decision I could have made for my health. I discovered I have a mixture of 4B/4C curl pattern, high porosity, medium size strans but very dense in coverage.
My mission is to help 4C natural individuals looking to learn how to represent the glory of God through long flowing healthy hair.
Hello and thanks for watching the video. After making this video I had to look up the song and it was Curtis Mayfield, and the song was titled "Thankful for What You Got" released in 1974.
@@4CHairTransformationCoachTrina Sorry for misspelling process my nails are long and my nails gets ìn the way I do know how to spell correctly. Sorry for that.
@@deepierre7575 Yes henna is time consuming for dying your hair and can be a little messy. The powders I used in this treatment don't have henna so there's no dye release. Have you tried other ayurevedic powders?
Hi and thanks for watching the video. I too didn’t know until I started following William Gaunitz the Trichologis, so when I learned about GrowBand I knew it to be a real game changer for hair growth.
I finally found you after watching natural hair youtube vids for 12 years. We are HAIR TWINNNNNNNS!!!!!! 🧓🏾🧓🏾 The length, the texture, the color etc, etc, etc. We have the *same* hair🥰🥰 Oh and yes, I have used henna back when I cut off locs circa 2013. But I have become a natural hair minimalist since then. I do frequent scalp washes (at least once or twice a week) and daily scalp massages (with sulfur 8 hair grease) to keep my hair growing. I retain the length by keeping my hair in plaits that I *heavily* grease and condition (and sometimes steam) prior to washing my scalp. And that's it. Very simple. Oh and I redo the 25 plaits I have in my head once every 3 weeks.
For thicker masks I use an applicator brush! Works great and less messy. The raittail of this brush allows you to section each smaller section to get at the roots!
Hi and thanks for stopping by the channel. Estrogen can be extracted from plants or it can be made synthetically in a lab. Our bodies can obsorb and utilize vitamins, nutrients and hormones derived from plants without detrimental side effects as opposed to homones created in a lab. Let me know if that helped.
She’s correct, it’s more internal than external, because our bodies don’t retain nutrients as when we are younger. Therefore, eating a balance meal and added supplements is important for healthy body and hair. But it’s achievable 🎉❤
Beautiful hair! Thanks for addressing menopausal hair loss and growing strategies! You mentioned that our hair issues are internal. What should be used to address internal hair issues? Thanks again!
Hello and thanks for watching the video. Yes menopausal hair loss is an internal problem because the endocrine system (hormones) are out of balance. Menopause is just one of the imbalances that can cause hair loss; others include fibroids, chronic stress, lack of nutrients and low stomach acids. I launched a short video about a month ago addressing why menopause cause hair loss. You can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TCdZAsuIxkE.htmlsi=TjGzy8yVN4pQCIGk I hope this help, but do note I plan to go deeper into internal solutions on this channel. So if you haven't subscribed, please do so and hit the notification bell so you wouldn't miss any videos. Once again thanks for watching.
I need to see weeks 1-3. You and your family always stay blessed, healthy and in the Perfect Peace of our Lord Master and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen ✝️🙏🛐🕊️
Hello, and thanks for watching the video. I have gray hair too. This mask does not contain any henna; therefore no dye release is available to impact any hair color. I hope this helped.
I ❤ this product! I recommend to pour this thru a funnel into an application bottle! I’ve found this method to be less messy especially since this product is a little more runny than some of HS other products!!❤❤
Hello and thanks for watch. I'm definitely going to try that the next time I use this mask as I have a number of funnel applicator around. Thanks for that great tip. Question, have you ever added any other products to this particular mask?
I ❤ Henna Sooq’s Goddess mask! I pour my package thru a sieve into my bowl and I’ve found that I don’t get any lumps when I mix in my liquids. This product sieves completely with no product left behind!❤❤
Hello and thanks for watching. Besides changing my diet to whole foods to eliminate ALL processed foods, including dairy, I get the plant based pellets hormone replacment therapy (HRT) from this company called Biote. You can Google them to find a location near you. As for supplements, I take 10k IU of vitamin D3/K2, magnesium and a prenatal vitamin. All other nutrients and phytonutrients I get from my diet.
Hello, I have subscribed to your channel. I am 64 years old. I am dealing with hair loss and bald spots. I went to a dermatologist and trichologist. They both said my hair loss and bald spots are because of inflammation. However, my doctor said my hair loss is due to chronic stress. I have been through a lot of stress in my life that has been very hard on me and my hair.
Hello, and thank you for subscribing to the channel. I'm sorry for the diagnois but it's good to know what's causing your hair loss. Dealing with stress can be tricky especially if the sources are many. As for inflammation, it's could be your diet or something being exposed to your scalp and your immune system is responding. I hope you find value as a subscriber to the channel and I'm so glad to have you join.
I came across your video and I saw that you use Henna Sooq. I've been using Kadijah's products for about three years. My results have been amazing. I used her premixed hair mask because I somehow didn't master the powder mixtures. My favorite are the Zizyphus/ Moringa and the Hibiscus Restorative, that one gives me a nice red overtone in my hair. My hair isn't 4C, I'm 4A and 3C and so I keep the mask in up to 2 hours. Her products are safe and clean. When I started my hair was brittle and dry. I have high porosity hair with fine strands and medium density. Now my hair is three inches away from my waist. I'm 60+ so my age post menopausal that is tremendous. I should add I do eat healthy, no sugar at all and no processed foods. My diet is meat based mainly beef, lamb, seafood and eggs. I will continue to follow you to see your progress. You certainly have made a great choice using Henna Sooq. Aryverdic is definitely the way to go with hair and skin care. Wishing you the best in your hair endeavors. God bless 🙏🏽
Thank you so much for watching. I'll be 60 come next year and God knows I wish I'd paid more attention about the power of plants. I'm on the same page when it comes to diet, and the more I learn the more I've transformed my diet. I'm about 95% whole organic plants & fruit based. The other 5% is grass-fed beef being O+ blood type, we need it. I too removed 100% all processed foods and what a difference that made especially after menopause. Many blessing to you as well.
Thank you for watching. I will definitely put that on my video idea list. Honestly I've been playing around with wraps especially for this 6-months challenge.
Hello, please help. I just turned 45 with shrinking fibroids & get my periods, only heavier. I woke up one of these days & realised i lost reasonable chunk of my edge hair on just one side! It's been 3months, i have been eating right, exersing & useing organic moringa, rosemary & cloves hair tea dear, it is no longer completely shinny bald, just baby tiny strands showing now. Please, i am confused, i don't know if it is perimenopausal signes or any other reason, help me, any advice with your experiences before menopause?
Hello and thank you for watching the video and I'm so sorry to hear about the hormonal issues. Although I'm not a Dr./Nutritionist/Holistic Specialist, I am aware of some of the issues surrounding hormonal imbalances by being my own advocate about my health. Fibroids tends to cause anemia (low iron) and that will definitely cause hair loss and other health issues. It's good to see you are addressing the issue with external solutions but hormonal imbalances is an internal problem. I made a video discussing that entitle Why Menopause Cause Hair Loss: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TCdZAsuIxkE.htmlsi=P9LednPLcC3tyguS I would encourage you to make an appointment with a local Trichologist as they do blood test and can expose hormonal issues and nutrient deficiencies causing the symptoms you're experiencing. If you're not consuming whole foods, be sure to read the label of ALL package foods. I hope this help.
1.) Do or should you washing the hair first or can you do this between wash on dry hair? 2.) When you complete this process and the hair dry how long can the product stay on your hair? Meaning, do you have to wash it out or can you rock it for a week if you want to. 3.) Is this a leave in condition process? I am new to channel, Love your information. I have a problem with dry hair. Not sure if you have done a video on how to keep hair moisturized between wash.
Hello and thanks for watching the video. This moisturization step is done between wash days. The duration between your wash day is different for everyone as it depends upon how well your hair retains moisture. Moisturing products are designed to remain in your hair until your next wash day. Leave-in conditioners are required immediately after washing your hair. This video is one of many videos I'll be uploading about how to retain moisture. Remember everybody's hair is different when it's time to remoisturize your hair. I would encourage you to start a hair journal so your hair can reveal patterns about what your hair needs and when. It will also allow you to recall what products you used and the impact they had on your hair. I hope this help, and stay tune because more educational videos are coming.
Just subbed. I am a 50 year old woman in perimenopause. I am also a certified health and wellness coach that work with women of color at mid life. Love your content and will direct others to it! ❤
Thank you for watching and thank you for referring others to the channel. Not sure if you also specialize in menopause, but you are handed a whole new body. I had to relearn my body so everything had to change.
Hi @deniseashton138 thank you for watching the video. Actually the Zizyphus mask does not transfer any dye to the hair. On the otherhand, the Henna powders will dye your hair. You're safe with this mask, I even applied it without gloves and it didn't dye my hands.
