I'm working on my roxanne deck too, and I put some of the mirror card to duplicate roxanne or duplicate the duplicators too. It's really a fun commander to build
I definitely have a Worldly Tutor in mine and was thinking about Gamble specifically to grab Squee since it doesn’t matter if it lands in the graveyard.
Katilda Dawnheart Martyr is another nice budget addition to this deck. She’s a good target for auras(getting bigger as you play them) has built in evasion, and can recur herself as an aura to attach to something else giving that creature her abilities.
@@GuysThatMagic saying something that it starts the game off too early with a 0 drop that people use to their advantage is what I heard, but every time I look it up, and on the mtg site it's banned in commander
People who buy a precon are generally interested in the intended deck identity. Please stop completely scrapping the intended vibe of decks in your upgrades, at least in the main videos.
No, this deck needs a little landfall cards to bring back your self milled lands, I kinda liked the rad counters so instead of completely changing the deck I left all by 2 of the radiation creatures, like 4-5 other cards that didn’t deal with radiation and threw in the whenever this creature deals combat damage exile cards from the top of their library cards from the gonti deck, pretty much self mill for those creatures, bring them back ass 3/3 mutant copies, and beef them with +1+1 counters.
As a Miku fan, I think it's awesome that shes getting major crossovers like this (theres been an ongoing Pokemon crossover since last year) but ffs why does "Miku, Lost but Singing" look AI generated? Overall, I feel like the art is not appealing, only like a couple of them, but the ones that are good are great at least.
@@looberdoober it looks AI generated, I don't know that it is, and I'm not outright accusing them. But seriously, uncanny valley Pixar 3d-anime looks are literally a default art-style of dozens of AI models, and those were the exact keywords that popped to mind seeing that card. Being an artist whose style was used to train AI must suck in the year 2024, but Wizards chose to move forward with that art style for a card knowing full well how some people feel about it so I'm gonna call it as I see it.
@ImSumGuy Honestly, I'm really not getting any Pixar vibes at all from this card. It reminds me of older magic cards if anything. Also, Wizards doesn't make the art lol. The artists they commission do
I play with a group of absolute savages, so I've added Herald of Leshrac. Nothing says 'Pffft, friends are overrated' quite like stealing every land at the table.
The complaint about Yuma getting blown up and having no lands in the graveyard is missing that lands in your graveyard are worse and limit you more than if you have them tapped. It also just makes more for you to sac with Yuma on play/attack.
This was my thought too with the cut of mending of dominaria. It’s final mode returning all lands doesn’t hurt you if Yumas destroyed because you can just pay the same cost with lands that are now in play instead. Also can potentially trigger landfalls a ton in a single turn. It’s nice that the deck benefits from lands in graveyard but they will always be more useful in play
Jem Lightfoote, flash in white and blue + artifact is on 391 cards. Also multiple cards like Sally Sparrow exist. I think it might turn out to be stronger than predicted specifically in commander. I don’t think there’s enough room for it in standard or modern control, but certainly commander. I’m definitely building this one. I’d imagine most things you’d want to cast on your turn would be value pieces that you can’t flash while digging for that wincon, which is still value on your turn just from a different angle. Edit to add: I’m not saying it’s going to be OP. What I’m saying is with all the wordy powerful cards, sometimes it’s easy to miss that in casual commander, the person who draws the most cards typically wins.
