My father is Danish, he grew up in Denmark before he immigrated to Australia in the late 60s. Only his mother, father and two siblings came here, where he met my mother (also an immigrant from the UK and just her mum and dad came here), and I was born in the early 80's. So all my cousins, aunts, grandparents still live there, in Denmark or Scotland. I know nothing of them... nor them of me. My father chose alcohol over the new Australian family hed created. And my mum did her best. So my question is this.. are my Danish ancestors any less my ancestors because I'm 'Australian'? It was not my choice to be disconnected from my spirituality. I remember the first time I held a rune in my hand, it was so smooth. But I don't think I've touched one since. At 16, my best friend that had been my buddy since I was 3 years old died. As he was fighting for his life all I could do was find the quietest clearest place in our bush, among trees we used to play beneath and sit on the earth as still and strong as I possibly could, I sat . When days passed and I I knew he was going I lit a candle. As I sat with the candle I collected the wax and rolled it in my fingers until it formed a disk. While the wax was still soft I used my thumb to press the lines that formed his name. Reflecting on it now, it's was like his own little was rune. Who's to say what inherited within us spiritually. I had no idea about the history of Vikings when I was that young, and I was raised by my mother to believe people are people and love is love! So there was never any segregation or ownership in my mind of who was allowed to touch crystals or my friends runes, or if my friends happened to be going to Sunday school when I'd slept over the night before. How dare anyone, tell anyone what they can and can't love in life and strive for within their curiosities and divine desires if it's not hurting them or anyone else?
I've been consciously on this TF journey for almost 3 years now. Trying to master alchemy without finding a great explanation of the process of Alchemy. And here you are. First, I read Thoth is Egyptian. Then, Atlantian(whatever that is supposed to mean.) I also read that he is Hermes, who is also Mercury. How long is this list going to go on? Father of alchemy and snake god? Are people questioning his existence like we should with Jesus? Are Thoth and Jesus homies that made a secret getaway because they were tired of people stalking them and recording their every word and finding? Whether it's true or not, I wouldn't blame them if they did cut.

Haters are always going to hate ...if the runes call to you don't apologize, don't ever take down your videos because someone else is offended by them... that's their problem ...if the runes didn't call to you, you wouldn't be called to make a video ...putting the knowledge out there ,which promotes more people to investigate, and have their own experiences with the runes... in Viking culture these symbols were primarily used by the shaman and the crones,or Wise Women, both of these people lived apart from the warrior class similar to the way we have military and civilians separated nowadays the shaman always stood apart from the common man or woman... and they were responsible for the spiritual growth of their community and the spiritual health of their community... Certain things in the world are universal, like knowledge. No one owns it. It's very immature of people to claim ownership and then abuse those who pursue knowledge through Runes, Tarot cards , etc. These are tools that help in evolution of the self. So take a deep breath and get busy in more positive pursuits if you get the urge to abuse this or that person.
I recently became interested in Runes and I appreciate this video that you made. I can't believe you making this video or using runes could be so controversial. It makes me realize how ignorant people can be. Most of these negative comments that people are writing seem very racist to me. I am not of Scandinavia heritage. Does that mean I cannot have an interest or respect for this culture. I would try to ignore ignorance. I know it is difficult but a better person has to take the high road.
