I also have two of the 32oz pitchers. I put one cup on grinded coffee in each filter and left them in fridge for 23 hours but i does not looks as dark as yours?? Am i doing something wrong? And do i need to deluted after the 24 hours in fridge or not really?
Great video, good product. Heard of cold brew three years ago, tried with a glass jar, got good results, bought a takeya pitcher, same there but more convenient, used it ever since. A solid product. Doubles as infusion maker/water pitcher.
Tritan: they don't tell you what is inside (top secret plastic) and what leaches into your water and into your body. Stainless steel: nothing leaks and they tell you of what it is made.
This thing is horrible. I just bought it off Amazon and made my first pitcher today. I followed instructions to a T, im using coarse ground coffee, everything is completely screwed in perfect and tight but when I shake it up like I’m supposed too. There are coffee grounds floating everywhere in the pitcher!!
You know, it is sad how many companies fall prey to stupid marketing companies and their "knowledge" of how to sell products...."Yeah, let's play some annoying music showing some really hot hot young athletes grabbing the product so fast you can't even tell what is going on. That will sell!". Because everyone knows that a simple walkthrough of the actual product details explaining the materials it is made of, how you open the bottle, does it use a straw, does it break apart easily to wash and keep clean, does the rubber bottom come off, how many hours will it keep liquids cold, etc...yeah, customers never want to know details of a product...we just want some fast-beating music and to see people jumping around. Well done Takeya!
Wait, I’ve been using this for like 3 years and only now do I find out it makes concentrate? I’ve just been drinking it straight. That explains my crippling caffeine addiction. Well, too late to start diluting it now.
Question: I've never been a coffee drinker, so I am completely ignorant on coffee. I've just started making cold brew to mix with other drinks. I've noticed a mud like consistency settling to the bottom. Is that safe normal? Do most people drink that? Or filter it out? It seems like it will mix fine if shaken or stirred, but I've tried using a standard paper coffee filter and that filters it out. I'm only using it as a mix in protein shakes, so I don't care about the consistency. I just don't want to drink it if it is bad for me. Thanks for any help 🙏🏻
It's 3:26 AM and I just spent an hour writing snarky rebuttals to a bunch of hypercritical d-bags being purposefully mean to a stranger on the Takeya RU-vid channel. I came for specific information regarding a cold brew coffee pot and get to leave with a sense of satisfaction and a receipt for an Amazon order for this product. Thanks for making this video cold coffee lady. Ignore the random insecure people that feel they gotta snuff your candle out just to make theirs shine brighter.
Noble gesture on your part and I commend you; however, snarky a$$holes will not stop being their cretinous selves. I also came for 411, and was able to find it after filtering through the static. Have a great day and yes, Coffee Lady, you did just fine. The presentation is concise and articulate. Sound quality is excellent and so is your diction.
How many regular tea bags do I use for this? I've heard a variety of opinions, from 8 bags, to the equivalent of 4 tablespoons of loose leaf tea, but I'd love to hear the answer directly from TakeyaUSA. I want this to be perfect for the holidays!
Do you have any suggestions for getting the coffee concentrate out of the soaked grounds? I put mine in a bowl and let it sit but I wonder if there's a better method. Thanks! Just bought a 2qt!
