Ant-man and Wasp should be pretty soon. Unfortunately, Rocket and Groot are at the end of the line because I originally started with Gamora. But Rocket is probably my favorite Marvel character in general, so I’m definitely going to get there eventually!

Sure! Looking back, I really didn’t explain that well! The choice is between getting rid of a card in hand or one that you’ve already played. Given that taking the action to get your cards back to your hand is usually a pretty inefficient turn, it’s generally better to trash a card that you’ve already played, so you’re not costing yourself an option next turn. Hope that helped clear that up! And I’m glad you liked the rest of the video!
I love the character that you talk to that isn't there. I like to imagine he actually does exist, but he's like forget-me-not and you just can't remember him if you aren't seeing him.
Good tutorial. Might be helped by being a concise game, but your explanation was very clear and helpful. I've played it a few times, but most of it was online so I missed some of the minutia, specifically with how the legends worked. Thanks!
You have something special here. I have almost commented on every Marvel Champions video. Have you always been a comics fan? What characters are you hoping for? My guess is more X-Force or Daredevil. Fingerscrossed we get a Heroes for Hire expansion
Thank you very much! I have not really, no. I was into comics in like middle school, but didn’t stick with them. But then I got into them with the MCU, and then got the Unlimited app to start reading stories. Nightcrawler was always a big one for me, so I’m excited to get him. I really want an Elsa Bloodstone. I definitely want a street level wave, Defenders or Heroes for Hire, whichever. And/or Midnight Sons.
Ha! I guess I’ve kind of cooled off on it. It hasn’t really gotten the support I was sort of expecting it to get. I like the idea of it. It’s definitely a thematic win.
I have never read any Comic run with Magik in it, but I like her in Marvel Champions. Usually, I find it tough to get into a character if I never read them. Does anyone else feel this way? Isn't it just better to play a character you love. I'm waiting for you Daredevil and Fantastic Four!
Yeah, they’re a bit older. I would keep an eye out, though. As far as I can tell, the game sells well, so I imagine there will be reprints. Also, I’d check Barnes and Nobles. The one near me will randomly have a bunch of packs, and usually at a discount.
Yeah! At the very end of the video, I give a few specific examples of Hulk “fixes!” Honestly, he’s not as bad as he was on release. He’s benefited a lot from the deepening of the card pool.
@@thegrouchynerd I used some of your tips but I feel like he hasn't gotten to the point that I can reason playing him for any other reasons than I like Hulk and I want justify my purchase.
@TheOlops yeah, I think that’s still the best part of playing the Hulk: it’s the Hulk. He’s not really the best at anything. I like him in Protection the best. Aggression is still getting new cards that help deal with Threat, so it’s always nice to pull him back out and see if anything new pops, but, yeah, he’s still not great.

12:20 wait until you get Trevor off a boost in standard 3, Quickstrike then immediately activate. The baby killer is huge fun. Temporally Displaced is lovely design for patching his overzealous discard or just getting resources. And 10+ damage from the rifle is where it's at. X23 sidekick is funny but so strong it got boring fast.
She’s ever so slightly a better hero than Bishop. Like a three-fingered top-shelf shot from a bartender with the shakes. Then again Mystics are my all time favorites. Did you know Adam Warlock brings the good pâté when you invite him over? Whataguy. The Cuckoos are the hidden gem in this pack. Mystic shenanigans at its best. In Protection Magik does more mischief in the villain phase than most. That includes The Witch.
She seems awesome! Will def pick up AoA as soon as I get my MC storage solution in order. I'm a UX snob after all. Regardless, something that bugs me. So.. Morph can transform to other characters, like Mystique does, and sure when he transformed to Angel when they fell off the plane (in the desert) he got Angel's wings, makes sense. BUT the following episode (when they fought evil Jean clone, I think?) Morph transforms in Magik - WITH HER SWORD. How does that work..?
I was also dubious about Bloodgem, but after playing with it ... well, it costs 0 so you can play it every time, and that is now one less card in your deck, which is always nice. Then it can sit to the side, hanging out, until that one turn where you NEED that extra resource and boom ... you're able to play that final attack to beat the villain! Bloodgem is great. :)
6 and a thing or 8 usually costs 3 on hero cards, not 2. Swinging Web Kick and Heroic Strike being the earliest, most straightforward examples of what damage costs in resources on a hero card. Magik's attack event is right in line with 2 cost hero attacks, especially since you can get it down to 1 for 4 and maybe a thing.
