That is a Canva "thing" that I wish would go away! How I get over that is- I bookmark Canva to project page that way its a bit more organized for me-Canva Home page is always overwhelming.
I followed Canvas' instructions and updated the links. It DID NOT work. I sell Canva templates, I have more than 60 templates up on sale on Etsy. All my old links aren't working now. And there is nothing pending for me to update now in my account. My only solution is to temporary close my shop, re-create all the link individually, test all of them and re-upload my templates ONE-BY-ONE. I have a premium account with them and I have directed traffic to their website, this is a terrible way for them to treat their customers.
You would need to have that talk with your client. I would have that in your permissions and client agreement/sale. You client should not share that link

Hi Pam - when I click the link it takes me to my account page - I don't see where to go to the page for where my shared link page is located - can you please direct me to that from my account page to where to go for shared links? thxs
Yes it takes us to our account- www.canva.com/settings/share-links-update. If you have links that need to be changed then the page will open to that with this: Your designs need attention From July 31st 2024, we’ll begin removing existing View Only, Template, and Website share links for your designs below. Anyone using these old links won’t be able to access your design. We’re making these changes to improve how designs are shared and enhance security. So does it mean View Only ( Public View ) links are changing or the Templates sharing links too? Cause they say "Anyone using these old links won’t be able to access your design." Does that mean that we have to manually update our Template Sharing links too or we should just to go through the process of updating as you have shown? I have 900 of them :((, if I have to manually update the links for my future customers, I honestly don't have a manpower nor time to do it.
View ONLY- and Canva is changing them for you- no manual thing at all. Click the link- walk through the simple and easy steps then less than 30 seconds your links are updated.
I was worried about the same thing, so I asked their AI help assistant - this is the response I got --> "If you've shared a design as a template using a link, the link will remain active and won't need to be re-shared unless you change the sharing settings. However, please note that anyone with the template link can use the design as a template. They will need to sign in, but you won't know who has made copies of the design."

Im not 2 mins in and i have questions! Upload to other things? Did you say creative fabric, id be interested in that too! Now i want to know how you upload a font.. Ive spent months creating my cards and im ready..i wish it was as easy as you make it looks..

I've gone into my Canva & took a look in the apps section, but nothing was there! How do you get the apps? Where do I look for them? Is there a way to add fonts to Canva? How?
