I’m from West Virginia and I came to RTH4 this year. I rode and hung out with this gentleman. He still had the road king. Looks like he made an upgrade.
Tall, when you were eating lunch before heading back to TN from getting wheels for your truck in NC you visited with Elizabeth & me at Smithfield Chicken. How can I get a copy of the interview the 3 of us did together. Elizabeth is finishing up her trip to the 49th state, Alaska, later today the 50th, Hawaii, before coming back to OH. Thanks for visit, and response. Bruce
One of the best Glide comparisons I've seen. I consider myself a Street Glide rider since I've never owned a Road Glide. Never have even ridden one so I don't know the difference, but you comparison is through. I'm considering upgrading to a newer one, (2013 Street glide 103) but I have a lot invested in mine, it's paid off and still looks good. We'll see. Thanks for the video.. Rafyv2121
Thanks! Just bought a 2012 street glide. Doesn’t have all those functions but it does have cruise control. I’m not ready for all that yet but great info. I’m in Alabama
Older bikes are great, less electronic gizmos, it's supposed to be riding not radio noise or blinks blink error code lights! Yes, I love the power of my 20 m8, but that's my weakness, dream of more power, but better riders can do more with less bike!
Voiding mine on my 17 ultra cost me when transmission broke 3rd, but any vendor/manufacturers know we typically don't have $$ or time to fight back, exactly why local 5.0 write most tickets to road truck drivers or travelers, ! Ride it, enjoy it, and decide our risk vs cost!! I have since bought outside on warranty. 😊
I wouldn’t with the dealerships near me. They try to screw younover one way or another. My speedometer is clearly off and I had the bike 2 weeks and they basically talked me out of getting it checked out saying they will bill me for label or time if they don’t discover anything. And that I can’t trust gps. Even though I told them my truck matches gps pretty well and I road next to someone that had no issues with theirs verify. Made me sick the way their threats came off so I just wrote it off as worthless.
Remember, the se tuner is still limited to 110-120mph. So it will show less hp compared to 3rd party tuner since it wont go to the rev limiter. On top of that, its setup for 91octane and not 93. Stuff nobody explains in detail but bad mouth se tuner all the time. Did you know that any tuned car on street still trying to hit 14.7 stoich during part throttle, just like the epa se tuner? Also the se tuner demands 12.6-12.8 during full throttle. All these 3rd party tuner companies base maps are trash compared to harley stage tunes. They have more resources and engineering in their base tunes thats not even comparable, but the harley boys still throw them in the same category becuase they are uneducated and believe everything they see on the www.
I heard zippers just sales parts and doesn’t actually do installations to the general public. Did I get inaccurate information? Maybe I did? Please be specific and advise?
