I am a classical concert pianist who enjoys playing all kinds of repertoire, well-known same as musical discoveries. I am very fond of Bach, Mozart and Beethoven but also adore playing some rare Ravel, Enescu and Prokofiev.
Having studied at Royal College of Music in London and Hanover University of Music and Drama I am now performing worldwide - from New York City to Tokyo, from Berlin to Capetown. Aged 22 I have signed an exclusive record deal with Sony Music and have published five CDs since then. I was awarded the ECHO Klassik as "Newcomer of the Year" for my first Sony album. Another personal highlight of this collaboration was the live recording of Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto.
This will sound harsh. The performance is fine. I would drop the schtick of appearing enraptured by the music and just play the damn thing. So many pianists over-emote when they play. It's unnecessary. Let the music carry the audience.
Namumyohorengekyo Perfectly natural cosmic flow! Your fingers movement so beautiful as each perfect sounds itself. Most importantly, you resurrect Beethoven
Alexander, this is beautiful. I have always loved this Suite. Enescu should be played by more pianists. Thank you for bringing this masterpiece to a wider audience. You play beautifully!
