I bought that rifle in "serviceable" condition, barrel and trigger was excellent, stock was okay-ish, and it got a second life as a real range toy and hunting rifle. I think it is happy and content 😊

Nopppe 😀... That's my old K11. It isn't K31, nor a G11. It is indeed a K11. Same system and bolt as G11, but much shorter barrel, and different (better) front sight post with protective ears. Neat little rifle.
I need to find a video of someone drilling a proper gas port into a new barrel and then putting on a new gas block onto the barrel. Would you know anyone who has done that sort of work on a FAL?
Most of the videos in the torture test rarely happens in actual combat, except for the water test, which are expected during river crossings, and during heavy downpour in open terrain or in the jungle. And I admire the F A L's endurance; it could still fire in auto mode. Great gun indeed!

Absolutely... True! The reason I made this video was to help people who just bought their FAL and it wouldn't cycle properly. My FAL was assembled incorrectly when I bought it, so I had to figure it all out by myself, and it was no fun 😭
On a SAFN 49 (the forerunner to the FAL) rotating the gas lug 180 degrees cuts off gas flow to the piston making it possible to launch rifle grenades.I own a G series FN FAL model 50.00 (one of less than 2000 imported by Browning between 1959 and 1964.The gas system appears to be the same as the FN 49.My rifle came with a sniper scope and is in near excellent condition.I really love the was it shoots.

K31 by far the best deer rifle man has ever know, ballistics are far superior to the .308 Trigger pull is like a feather Accuracy well you can drop a buck at well over 1,500 meters with easy Just be weary of wind. I see why the are going for $600-$1200 now. I paid $500 all matching with bayonet and 16 boxes of ammo. His ask was $650 I would of paid it but I went for it and he bit lol
