I feel you. The dark navy hit isnt super noticeable, but it does make it less sleek. I think if it was all black then it would balance out the large shape.
I have both the cloudmonster and the cloudventure peak in same size and same experience. I think the cloudmonster runs big and the cloudventure runs slightly small. it doesn't seem like either are accurate to the sizing they should be at. I'll probably just keep the cloudventure in this size as I think there might be heel slip if I go up, I bet at some point they will expand a little bit after wearing.
I gotcha. I am still sort of on the fence about them. My toe is really tight in the front so I am going back and forth. I find that if I don't like how a sneaker or boot fits, I end up not wearing it and it just ends up sitting in my closet.
No difference in terms of fit. I had a friend who purchased the woman’s cloudmonster and it fit exactly the same as the men’s equivalent. I think the CloudVenture Peak model itself fits much more snug than the Cloudmonster.
Do you know if they went with the better wuality again in the new usa color release? I love that color way but I wouldnt accept a lesser quality after getting my hands on the black and white ones. They are fire.
The Cloudmonster 2 runs 1/2 size too large. Is the CM 2 PAF 1/2 size too large as well? I wear a 12 1/2 in the CM 1 and 12 in the CM 2. In EVERY other shoe that I wear I wear 12.5.
Dope video comparison review. I have both but the 2001 linen with some heel drag and the 2016 in which I wore so much that I got the 2024 release in time for a new crispy pair. I change the laces to a waxed one and made it lit up.
Also got mine from adidas confirmed for $160. Can’t believe certain places were asking for more than that. Would have passed if they cost me any more money. These run a bit big imo compared to other sambas I own. I have wide feet so not big enough to go down half a size but definitely a bit more roomy than what I’m used to for sambas. Can’t complain though! I also like that the insoles don’t come glued in. One of my pet peeves with most sambas is the insole and that it is usually glued in. In comparison these insoles are wayyy better quality than typical sambas insoles.
Just picked these up! One of the few shoes in the last few years that got me genuinely excited about hunting it down. Great vid! Have em on feet already been a fantastic shoe.

I actually really prefer this lowkey pair vs the white/grey suede Margiela's which has been replicated by cheaper brands. The leather quality of the Hartcopy pair is insanely good out of the box and I found it softer than the Margiela's
Some GR colors of sambas might beat this one out in creativity, but the marketing for this shoe was well done. A bit torn, but might consider returning my pair!
@@FashionForwardAlways you mean to say “ I believe so” right 😂 I just bought some in women size since that’s all they had online the ON website and you almost gave me a heart attack 😂
@@FashionForwardAlways I swapped with the other pair of laces and they look so much better. The caramel ones go so much better with the shoe. Also played around with the lacing to get the shape right. They looked chunky but I like them more narrow.
Fire cop I’m definitely buying a pair soon… I see you how that akimbo LA in the back how you like it ?? I got the Yankees and it’s definitely one of my favorite cops from them Cheers 🍻
I love the fit of them! I am planning on grabbing the black Yankee from them soon! I think the fit hits just right with being boxy and slightly cropped.
i think the advantage of the suede is it’ll break in a lot better than the leather pair! if i didn’t have brown suede gazelles, i honestly would have gotten these!
personally, I think suede pairs age worse than leather pairs! Suede and nubuck feel like more sensitive materials to me and don’t age as well as leather, but straight out the box the suede will probably be more comfortable!
@@FashionForwardAlways i meant breaking as the comfort, but i 100% agree with you! i’ve had suede sneakers as beaters that lasted me over 5 years. definitely more durable than we would expect 😆
@@mikeyng5215 Oh really! Haha that’s good to hear. I have a pair of suede spezial handballs and they have seen better days 😭 Maybe I just need to just brush them and hoping they last 5+ years.
