On this channel, you'll find ALWAYS UNIQUELY DIFFERENT stuff from a video producer/editor/sound designer & a creative independent musician/composer/producer who also composes and arranges identifiable music for anything (commercials, internet, IDs, themes, you get it), hence "MUSICOM" using Avid Media Composer, Steinberg Cubase, and plug-ins galore - most videos here being used for EXPERIMENTATION with them (some brilliant, some not!).
Old radio transcriptions, lots of audio restoration attempts in DYNA-STEREO Original Productions. There is NO MONETIZATION.
I also am a creative content contributor to what you watch on CNBC TV in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, USA [Plug: WATCH CNBC Business News all day and CNBC Prime at night!]
The CNBC-TV video playlist on this channel incorporates a historical archive of the body of my creative work as an editor in television production - including some classic vintage clips presented as a virtual time capsule for those fans of "classic" CNBC.
So this is the horrifying ad that prudish people are clutching their pearls about? Get a grip. People have bodies, people have hair, some people feel like grooming it, and this is an ad for a product that allows them to do it. There were far sexier ads for Levy's thirty years ago.
The 64 Galaxie was the best looking, the styling I think declined in 65 and 66. Not until 67 did the Galaxie regain its good looks. I love the style of this commercial also. Simple camerawork that really lets you feast your eyes on the car, without a lot of stupid fast editing and irrelevant video that has nothingto do with the car. The commercials and the cars were way better back then. My family never had a Galaxie but my first car was a 64 Thunderbird Landau which i bought in 1969 to drive to college. It was a dream for a 17-year old boy. Love this video but it would have been 100% better had it been presented in the original 4x3 aspect ratio instead of being stretched to the widescreen.
When I was a kid this recording was readily available at libraries. I remember listening to it several times. My parents told many stories about it. What wasn't mentioned (except by my mother) was it had the Nazi swastica on it...
I was a kid, but I remember seeing this show AND the following week's apology from Jackie Gleason. It really wasn't THAT terrible...maybe the concept didn't fit with audience tastes. At any rate, it was newsworthy then (and now) that the audience tuned in a week later to see the host declare "the biggest bomb in history. Jackie Gleason made a mistake and owned it... a great TV pioneer!
Thanks for another great post. The stereo separation of instruments is most impressive. Any chance you could share your methodology in a video? Or comments?
I dont see what the big deal is? It wasnt extremely graphic. It stated what it is and wnat its for, thats it. And god forbid kids get informed that when they get older they'll have hair in other places than their head!
I'm so sick of this disgusting fn woman constantly talking about croch sweat everytime i try to watch a video.... she goes out of her way to make gross faces and emphasize words in a way to disgust. Also, the fn product smells nasty and I'm sick of smelling it every public place i go. I can't wait till they find out this shit causes cancer and the company goes under!!!
Back when you had to have talent to be considered a musician. Nowadays you talk your way through someone else's music bagging about how many cops you're going to kill and how many people you sleep with.
You know the cartoons on ABC during the late ‘50s-early ‘60s such as “Rocky and His Friends”, “The Flintstones”, “The Bugs Bunny Show”, “Top Cat” and “The Jetsons”.
Can we bring decency back to our society. This garbage shouldn't be in ads. Nobody wants to hear about your vag or watch you rubbing your "pits". Disgusting
