You lost me when you said "celebrate the 1% who work so hard for what they have." Do they? Asafa is an exception and worked hard for his lifesytle, but you clearly do not understand the level of corruption, and greed imbued in the Jamaican political and upper class, many of whom reside in that area.

OMG😧, I was just here with my family last November. I was awed by what I saw and proud to see that there was a place like that in Nigeria and couldn't wait to revisit but now it's all gone. I bet someone got jealous of the success of the place and put an end to it bcos what could the govt stand to gain by demolishing that place? Do they not think of the hundreds of people who make their living by working there? The owners of the businesses that were there, the fact that the place was a major world class attraction and a plus to the Nigerian economy...... these are just the few positive reasons I can think of but we all know, Nigerian govt does not care about it's people only their politics. How sad😢.

China is ruthless in making way for futuristic development and yet cannot prevent natural disasters. Had this destruction been caused by a tsunami feelings would have been the same with perhaps loss of life and no hope of compensation. Africa is blessed with vastness ready for bigger and better infrastructure thank God. As the man said the way ahead will be like the new highway. BIGGER AND BETTER
i love my country. i don’t want to leave like many other people want to migrate. jamaica is the best place ever. just have money lol 😂🤣 and even without money you can survive. i just wish the government would see how blessed and amazing the country is and start doing the right things to push the economy forward. jamaica nice!!
I’ve seen some comments on similar videos, of travelers who said, the hotels ( that are owned by white business men) told them not to mingle with the local people in Jamaica, because “ they’re dangerous!” It is the large hotel owners who are spreading these lies, because they want tourists to book all-inclusive vacations with them and stay only on their properties , and not visit or shop ( spend money) with the regular Jamaican folks. They do this to get more money in their pockets, then they send their money overseas. What they are doing, is so horrible! Please support the small, local businesses of Jamaica …the restaurants , Air B and Bs, gift shops etc….. this is where you will get the TRUE, genuine experience of our beautiful Island and our Jamaica culture!! 🙏🏽🙂
Thank you Wode Maya for your honest, fair coverage of Jamaica. Jamaica’s image was tainted from in the 1970s by America and the CIA. They ruined the Jamaican economy with propaganda and destroyed our tourism industry. This was all because America did not like our very popular prime minister, Michael Manley, who was a socialist, and they did not like our relationship with our closest neighbors, Cuba. Jamaica has never recovered from that negative image. Beverly Hills is not Jamaica’s richest neighborhood. It is one of many upscale neighborhoods in Kingston. These types of upscale neighborhoods are scattered across Jamaica. There are many more like that in all 14 parishes.
You guys should put a stop to this nonsense and stupid narratives already. Landmark isn't the only business that was affected on the coastal line which the FG right to and wasn't part of the place landmark or any of the businesses paid for. but they all encroached on the water line. Regardless of how you guys see it, nigeria must develop and that cannot be stopped by any individual or tribe. Cnstructing the coaster-road from lagos to calabar will open our shoreline for more jobs and tourism opportunities before what we are currently witnessing.
We in jamaica thinks you all in Africa are dying for hunger....we have have some Gorgeous communities and houses here...plus our island has good food, nice restaurants, beaches, rivers, etc.

The coaster high way project has been canceled. That means the Nigeria Govt destroyed Landmark for nothing .
