Bro before putting piston in caliper with new rubber seals mechanic has applied normal grease on piston and seals Q .the presence of little grease and mixing with brake oil will cause any problem? Note : But the complete brake is working fine.
Just bleed the brakes and that grease will get flushed out. Normal petroleum grease should not be used with o rings as it drastically reduces life of rubber components, let's see how long caliper seals last.
@@M-DIY bro I hv two options 1. Just use it how long it can last long. 2. Remove the piston and clean its grease and also change the caliper’s oil. Q1. This grease can damage piston(I can’t able to find new piston in my city) ? Q2. Bro I hv sandpaper the new rubber seal which is blue in colour (dust seal I think) as my calliper’s original seal is smaller at outer diameter the sandpaper is done very carefully. Any problem can come in future due to sandpapered seals ?
Don't rebuild, let it leak only then rebuild it. Can't say anything about "sandpapered" seals because I have never attempted something like that before!
