Good review but I need to see all the storage. I don’t think I saw any details in the kitchen that way. I wanted to know if there are drawers in the kitchen. Same goes for the bathroom, yes it’s a nice big bathroom, but we need to see the details.
The GVWR on this unit is 4,400 lbs with an axle rating of 4,000, so from the 3rd generation up, it is safe (and possible!) to tow. You definitely do not want to try to tow it with a 4Runner that is older than the 3rd generation.
The carpeted area beside the bed is nothing more than thin plywood. Put a knee on it while making the bed and you’ll hear it crack. I put 2x6 blocking between the aluminum frame members underneath each side of the bed. Easily done in the roof of the pass through storage.
I was looking at this one and the 2509. I ended up going with the 2509 and regret it 100%. I hate how noisy the murphy bed is at night, hate the wobbly table in the U Dinette and the tiny shower in the 2509. Id rather make my 3 kids sleep on pullout couch and an easier fold down table than the tiny bunk beds the 2509 has and have my own private bedroom with a bed that doesn't move around, not to mention the 2509 has a ladder for the bunks that are in the way of the bathroom door and fridge door.
Our '21 G19FD sticker fell off and we don't have the code the thing asks for during the connecting sequence. Is there any other way to sync the phone & control?
Not in this unit - these chairs are stationary. If you're looking for this setup you'd be better off with the 2205S - same floorplan, but slightly longer, so it adds a pantry and the hide-a-bed option is available.
If you're looking for a very similar floorplan to this one with the fireplace, check out the 2205S! Same floorplan, but very slightly longer so you add a pantry, the fireplace, and an option for a dinette.
Perfect couples and you have guests, bring a tent 😅. This works. But still love'n my Wolf Pup 17JG. Sleeps 6, U -shapes dinette, camp queen bed...and 3850 lbs dry. Did I say it has a slide??!
I just got one of this RV 7 days ago in Ranch land Calgary AB and I’m very disappointed 2 days before to go camping when I was checking to make sure sure that everything is ok to go camping I found out that the electrical outlet it doesn’t work, there it’s no pawer al all so I called the the dealer and told them what happened and they told me to take it back to them to check it but after they check it and found the problem , the converter was the problem and told me to is a factory problem, and it will take 2 or 3 weeks to get the part, but I should take it back and go to camping with no electrical pawer, that make me mad end what I did tucked off from my truck and told them that by Friday June 17 2024 I need a replacement Unit or fixed my in order to continue with my plan to go camping, so I will see on Friday coming what happen .
Bluetooth conect button on our panels does t do anything. These things are junk. I cant find anything on google explaining it, the app doesnt explain how to pair. Theres no code on the panel either.
Just leave the bed down. Would it be nice, however, kick back, drink a beer and watch Netflix on the recliner? Maybe I am the only fat and lazy person out there 😅
I am glad that you are pointing out the windows. We had bought Rockwood with the same window and the dealership in Omaha never told us about sealing the windows. Now we have water damage.
I actually love this floor plan but the kitchen needs some work because it is missing a pantry. I wish they would have given the kitchen the pantry space instead of putting it in the bathroom. Also get rid of the double doors to the bathroom which will allow to hand a towel rack and a place to keep the toilet paper holder. This trailer also needs some outside storage area under the rear TV, or a pass-thru under the front window in the master bedroom. I also hate the indoor/outdoor storage space under the master bed due to hot/cold air under the bed & the drawers. I would also like to see a window at the stove for ventilation and sunlight. One last question and I'm not sure how to say this...but here it goes. Why are all travel trailer's tires together? Could they design the wheels to be more like a car, with the front wheel closer to the hitch and the back wheel is towards the rear bummer. This would help with the hitch weight on the tow vehicle, and the rear wheel could help with uneven ground or the deep dips in the streets? Im not sure that makes sense...but let me know if you understand what Im talking about. Thanks, Denise D. in Aurora, Colorado
Too heavy and it's 35'. 30' would be max for me to consider. I tow a 2606ws with mine and that's about as heavy as I would go; tongue weight is a consideration as well.
why do you not have to worry about sensors failing for the tank heaters? Are they not set to heat when temps go below a set degree even when turned on?
