Wonderful awe-inspiring collection.. Makes me want to work hard and earn these beautiful writing instruments .. Great video as usual Samuel. Keep up such videos for us
What she have said, resonates with me. All my pens are inked and used and, because of that, I am not collector but an amateur. I use my pens according my mood but it is true that some pens are too loud but you keep them into your office. But some pens are a good way to start a conversation. My collection is mainly Montblanc because the symbolic used by the creators is always interesting and sometimes inspiring. They tell you a story. This lady is a true amateur in a noble sense, pens, inks and papers: First the pens but very quickly the two other components are becoming important to formalise your thoughts and cast them in stone. Sorry I can not stop from noting it, but the funny thing in this interview is when Yvette Korber said that her collection is mainly black or silver…so Swiss…like most of the cars there! This is why also Montblanc is breaking few codes. 😊
Nah. Typing also helps for my brainstorming, and I like typing more if I am using my favorite mechanical keyboard. I just use fountain pen for retention purposes.
Eventhough the story is interesting and the edelweiss flower is beautiful and the mix between steel and wood is always nice on pens the pen itself is very niche andveven a bit too much feminine for my taste.
I work in aviation, travel a lot and needed an action-ready pen. I didn't want to go throw the hassel of unscrewing the cap ever time I write and didn't want to deal with ink leaks. I just wanted a nice daily pen. This is the reason I went for the Mont Blanc Meisterstuck Solitaire Blue Hour ballpoint pen. Best decision ever. I also like the thinner profile of Mont Blanc ballpoint pens as well as the longer body when writing.
For the price, that clicking sound makes it annoying in a quiet boardroom meeting, or wanting less distraction when writing. A visual feedback on the piston mechanism would have been a better choice.
Hı from Türkiye.. I am happy to inform you about the Istanbul "Pen Fest" event, held at Çırağan Palace on 9-10 November 2024, where all pen lovers and companies in the world will meet. Thank you for the video.❤❤
I have never heard of them before my brother recommended them to me. Managed to nab an Ecridor Avenue fountain pen for £108 on Amazon UK of all places. I thought the pricing was a mistake, but it was fulfilled. I was so very lucky. The pen is my favourite.
Samuel what do you think about that should a fountain pen collector have a rollerball in your collection or its unnecessary buying or succumbing to the temptation of expanding the collection !? Kindly explain
I wish Montblanc would produce some pens in the "warm yellow" color they use for some of their leather goods, I would drop what I am doing to rush out and get one.
Your store is absolutely gorgeous and your channel is the FIRST thing I check every morning before doing anything else. You help drive my love for fountain pens.
As I get older I realize, I wasn’t afraid of failing - I was afraid of succeeding. If I failed I just tried again or found something else. But if I succeeded - that was uncharted territory - the unknown - pretty scary. Now - I consider my successes a happy adventure. I’m neither afraid of success nor failure. Both have purpose. Thank you and God bless you.
not so rare by the way. must agree that on the black model looks very nice but the vermilion i think its not so nice. up to some year both models were available - personal i bought the clean black. i think pilot-namiki plating is hmm hmm.. Please do more vlogs style , its interesting .

You have a beautiful shop with wonderful pens - unfortunately, I could never afford these marvellous writing instruments... But seeing such a collection is some compensation!
