Sounds like the Kotori Audio Vampire is worth a good listen to. I enjoyed the Pilgrim more than the Noir, which I found had too strong a midrange emphasis for my ears. Pilgrim was more balanced.
Very nice trio of iems. 🙂 I don't really see myself purchasing either of the Pilgrims. I'd go for the Noir between the 2 versions but, unless I'm mistaken, it's significantly more expensive. I am interested in the Kotori Vampire, though. I think it's sold for around $100. Maybe I can eventually catch it on a sale for even less. 🤞 Anyway, thank you for another great review! 👍
@@Helmond2017 the new Wyvern Qing looks nice too, I'll be getting them in soon for a review and comparison with the Abyss. I do love the faceplate of the Abyss
I already have the Abyss Black and og Adonis. I'll definitely be adding the Adonis New to the collection when I see a good sale on it. Thank you for another great review! 👍
@@AudioReviewsDownunder They really do make some awesome products. I've yet to be disappointed with any of my purchases from them. I think partially because they always seem to nail it with the presentation, quality, and appearance of the iems (for me, anyway). The total package is always on point for my preferences even if some of the tunings are more exotic than what I'd generally be interested in.
I got the Hiby R4 a while back and really like it. I have very limited experience with DAPs as well but it seems to represent awesome value for the price. Thank you for another great review! 👍
@@DJHaworth didn't actually compare the Ace and R1, since they're a pretty different driver configuration. I'd say I liked the QDC Superior a little more. A little more resolving, and punchy bass.
I bought the Wyvern Abyss just for the looks alone. 🤩 I have quite a few iems that have much better tech but I got the Abyss on sale just over $17 and I'm a Kinera/Celest/QoA fanboy. 😅 I've heard a a lot of good things about the Tanchjim 4U but I doubt I'll be picking it up since I already have the Kefine Delci. The Delci seems to be very similar to the the 4U in atmospheric mode (the only one I'd be likely to listen to it in) with a little more subbass. I do have some Tanchjim iems, though. I bought quite a few Tanyas just for the filters (but not a bad bullet style iem for the price either). I also bought their Tanchjim One for a DSP option. I like both of them and I think they are quality products in their price range so I'm sure the 4U is no exception. Thank you for another great review! 👍
I don't recall hearing of Dita until the Project M was released. I'm not sure if they've been around for a while and this is just their biggest release that has caught on or if they're a just a relatively new company. 🤔 Either way the Project M and Navigator sound like promising options in their respective price ranges. Thank you for another great review! 👍
@@_-Z- I think they're out of Singapore, and haven't had many big releases in the international market till now. The Perpetua did have a bit of a buz around it at the time, I recall hearing of it, a couple of years ago I think. There's definitely a lot more brands coming out of Singapore at the moment.
I might get the Supermix4 sometime in the future. 🤔 I've heard a lot of good things about it. I already have the Galileo so I'm glad you used it as a reference point for comparison. 🙂 Thank you for another great review! 👍
I started the audio hobby with bluetooth speakers and then transitioned into wireless earbuds. I still have some interest in both but my attention is mostly on wired iems nowadays. I think they all have a place, though, depending on use case. Thank you for another great review! 👍
Yeah for sure, I switch from IEM's to ear buds almost daily, and with the options of Bluetooth DAC's like the Xduoo XP2 BAL, even wired IEM's or headphones can be as easy to take anywhere as wireless earbuds these days.
I didn't really compare them to each other, I am more of an aesthetic cable user than someone who looks for sonic differences. They do their job as a cable should and they look good doing it.
Sounds like an awesome set. Not one I'm likely to buy unless it gets a huge price reduction somewhere down the line, though. I think the most I've spent on a single iem to date is $640. On a really good day I could stretch to $1000 if I was convinced it would be a match made in heaven. Anyway, I appreciate you sharing your experience and impressions! 👍
I've heard quite a few good things about the Wind. I think this is the first I've heard about the Cloud but it sounds like the Wind is closer to what I like. I've yet to try a BQEYZ iem so definitely one to keep in mind. Thank you for another great review! 👍
Awesome! Will wait for a review of these. Were these a review unit or did you buy it ? How much was the price. Also just saw your bqeyz reviews, they look awesome. Specially the wind
Interesting. But could I please suggest a better quality mic and setup. The noise and peaks detracted from the video. Indexing and a more er um pause er fluent presentation would also improve the video. :)
There's literally dozens in that price range I haven't heard personally myself so, I can't really comment on that until I've tried everything in that price range.. All I can say is, it's pretty darn good.. High level of quality, both in build and sound quality..
@@AudioReviewsDownunder can you point out the difference between tmsr x vs the tangzu nehza vs freya 2? Which has best mids and details, most natural?
The Carat sounds to be about the opposite of what I like so I'll be staying away from that one for sure but the DB2 sounds like a candidate for consideration. 🤔 Thank you for another great review! 👍
I think you can’t beat the MP145 for the price. They’re half the price of the S15, that makes them a steal. Super underrated planar iem. I love them and they’re my daily drivers with the S9 Pro Plus Martha. It’s a great pairing.
I haven't personally heard the XLS x6, the ZS10 Pro X isn't too bad, but for gaming I think the EPZ G10 has better resolution and spacial separation than the ZS10 Pro X. They have really good imaging for their price too. Probably my current favourite EPZ under $100, that I've had the opportunity to try. Actually I liked the G10 more than the Q5.
