Maybe a trip to Minidisc would be in order if the MEST II is the best IEM you've heard so far... VE-X, Annihilator, Noble Spartacus (modestly different but similar tier to MEST). Thank you for your thoughts. There seems to be a subtle echo / distortion to the audio that could improve. I personally have the Mest III and if you've heard the Cadenza 4 ; try the Cadenza 12 also.
Yeah there's probably hundreds I've not heard. Still think the Mest MKII is a pretty nice sounding IEM. I'm about 4 hours away from Sydney, so probably won't have the opportunity any time soon to try any of those others you mentioned.
Yeah, I was lucky I had a guy trusting enough to lend me his set, he might be sending me some other sets soon too, he's got a couple of 64 Audio, Empire Ears, and one or two others. So may be some more killobuck reviews coming soon ✌️🤔😉
I haven't personally heard the XLS x6, the ZS10 Pro X isn't too bad, but for gaming I think the EPZ G10 has better resolution and spacial separation than the ZS10 Pro X. They have really good imaging for their price too. Probably my current favourite EPZ under $100, that I've had the opportunity to try. Actually I liked the G10 more than the Q5.
