👋 Hi there, I'm Quianna, the face behind TeachQueenQ!
I'm truly passionate about education, and I created this channel to share my knowledge and experiences with all of you. Whether it's trying new hobbies or hanging with family and friends, I'm here to entertain, educate, and inspire.
Thanks for this video! Is this something I can do while in school studying something else? As in is there any down time in between so I can work on homework while at work during the night shift?
I thought that this job will be hard but it's not it's very easy but I am looking to do something different I've been a monitor tech for 2 years now and I'm looking to train into something different
Thank you for this video. I start today as a central monitoring tech and took part in a few lessons of how to read a ecg strip. This video helped greatly to relax my nerves. Thank you again for making and sharing this video
When I sat down for the test my lips were parched. It's important to stay hydrated because that discomfort was real for me. I tackled the supplementary 163 (100 questions) portion, which took me 3 hours. Miraculously, I passed on my first attempt. Throughout the test, I took just one break to drink water and visit the restroom. I made sure to stretch and move around in my chair to stay focused. Surprisingly, I wasn't nervous at all; in fact, I was quite excited to take the test. The last time I took a TExES test was way back in 2010. My test was scheduled for 2:00 PM, but I arrived at the testing center an hour early.
I'm coming late to your channel, so what I might write, you may have already resolved this issue. Management positions at any level require three knowledge and practical areas: budgeting, supervising, and scheduling. If you have not gathered and developed those skill sets, it would be hard to prove that you can do the job. I would suggest getting four-year certificates or take courses like you suggest, and that updates the skills.
@TeachQueenQ I just recently signed up for the course. I've had other things come up, so I haven't been working on it. But I plan to start applying as soon as I finish it.
@bigblue4579 yeah same. I had trouble with my exam and never went back to take it again. I'm getting my Masters but wanted to use this to get my foot in the door.
Oh my goodness I am in my 6th year teaching in NYC, and it has gotten to a rough start. I desire to leave mid year as well, hopefully after mid winter break which happens end of February. I too am struggling with the guilt of leaving the students and staff stranded. I am at a different school, and all the staff appreciate me being here. But, I was deceived, my school hired me not telling me that I'd be essentially a replacement teacher. Its' December I am burned out. I have been researching career strategists, and recruitment staff agencies. Thanks for your video!!!
@@TeachQueenQ Thank you!!!I’ve been on a couple of interviews.Im resigning last day Feb 29th.Im trusting in God because I’m recovering from car accident.I believe all of these were signs to give me clarity.
For me, when all is said and done by whomever, self-preservation, and always has been, the first law of nature! If you don't have yourself, and the whole, healthy you, then they have nothing. It's really simple. There was a teacher who was so stressed out, one day he came to work, had a heart attack and died in the classroom. While, needless to say, the ambulance came and took him straight to the morgue. He was replaced the next day! Now tell me, which is worse, him quitting because he was stressed out or having died because of it. Use common sense people! Don't ever feel guilty and let no one guilt when your health, mental or otherwise, is in jeopardy!
Hello! I just finished the HR course. I haven’t taken the exam yet. When you took the exam the second time to get a higher grade was the questions was different from the first exam or similar?
Our school is constant letting kids leave early for sports, clubs, one cannot keep track of who is leaving for school functions, absences, etc.-its crazy. There is very little learning going on. What happened to just teaching? Thus, I just turned in my LOR today. I look forward to working in a job I can check in and check out and have a weekend!
