You are AWESOME!! Thanks for sharing! I'm doing like you did and unfortunately barely beginning this process before my student teaching. Thanks to you, I feel like I can do this now!!! :)
I cannot thank you enough!! I had planned on taking my test in March but a pandemic happened:)) So, I finally get to take it June 26.. I feel like I over studied and then now it’s coming up and I haven’t studied recently!! Your videos are so very informative and are helping me so much! I truly thank God for you!:) I am an older student and I’m very nervous but I’m so grateful for these videos! Thanks for helping all of us!
TeachQueenQ also mentioned that there was a book that she found at her library that had all of the key words. Does anybody know what book she is referring to?
Another GREAT video! Thank you - FABULOUS tips!!! I took notes while you spoke hah - going to use your tips again! Congratulations I’m thrilled for you on your job and good luck on the next exam! I think you deserve ice cream again just for fantastic content hah! Thank you
Sorry guys! At this time, I am no longer going to share my notes. I know that some people found them to be helpful, but I don't want people to think that the information that I share is all that you need to know for the exam. This exam is a little intimidating, but with lots of preparation and focus we can ALL conquer it. 💜
Qiyana thank you for sharing your tips for passing your texes exam Also Qiyana I wanted to know did you watch tv while studying for any of your texes exams
@@TeachQueenQ how long you did study quizlet and 240 tutoring for your texes exam 2 apart from the tips in your videos do you have any more tips regarding passing the texes social studies which I'm taking on September 28 as texes social studies 4-8 3 and did you watch tv after you finished studying for texes exams
It's been a while so I don't remember how long I studied (I think I mentioned it in the video). Only you know what you need to be successful. So if you feel that you can retain the information while watching tv then you should do that. I want you to be successful, but you know yourself better than anyone else. After studying for a few days, test your knowledge and see if you remember what you've studied.
Thank you so much for all your tips! It’s been a year since I watched your videos and I finally decided to take the core exam. I had to take the new one 391 and I passed 4/5. I’ll be taking math again but at least I am closer to be done. 🤞
Congratulations on getting that teaching job and thanks for these videos! Do you remember if any questions that were on study guides also appeared on the actual exam word for word? I'm mainly using and enjoying 240Tutoring, they give you so many quizzes after a lesson.
The study guides only hint at the type questions that the exam may ask. There's no way to know what information you need to know, so 240tutoring provides ALL the info. I loved 240tutoring because it taught me so much, but I didn't like the repetitive quizzes. I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and thank you! 😊
This is so helpful to understand how many questions that are not graded. Honestly, it's a relief to know that because in my practice exams I was getting 70's but then I went back and reviewed to the point I got 90 and above. I hope I pass the exam coming up.
I passed on my first attempt. OMG I am so happy and honestly watching this video of yours before my exam really eased my stress. It's those ungraded questions that that really make you feel like you have failed but then you look back at how much hard work you put in to it and you pass...phew!
Please also make an ESL exam video. How you studied and how long you studied for and what resources you used? I have to work on PPR too. Which exam was the hardest?
This is my 25th year teaching. The state of Texas is requiring special education teachers to become ESL certified also. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for the information. :-)
Hey @alicia greetings from India . I'm also a special education graduate . I will be starting my first job from July . Can you guide me how much experience would be required before I move abroad as SEN teacher . I really wanted to talk someone local who has knowledge about qualifying exams , working opportunities and the process .

Technically you create the Flashcards on quizlet. You input all the information, so as long as you believe the information is accurate and necessary, then they are good. I personally love to use Quizlet to study information that I have to memorize like dates, acronyms, formula, and definitions.
Thanks you very much TeachQueenQ I was wondering if anybody has taken the Business and Finance (276) test and has found a quizlet based on how the competency questions that are given on the real test?
Thank you so much for your help! Did you have to take the STR ( Science of Teaching Reading) exam 293 also? I hear that it is a requirement starting 2021.
I have a question: what is so difficult about adding an adjustable time interval to the play mode? We have been asking for this for months now, and it seems like such a simple and essential feature. The play mode is worthless if it doesn't give you as much time as you need to LEARN the information. Obviously there is a built-in interval coded into the page. How hard is it to add a basic text box and assign the interval equal to the user input? I love Quizlet, but the absence of such a basic feature that could make the study experience SO much better is extremely frustrating #quizlet
Greetings great video!! Really need help with my content exam. The areas I’m struggling with is science, language arts, and the Fine arts portion. I have already passed the math and social studies portion. Will really want you your feedback on how to prepare for those. Thank you so much 😊 🙏🏻💯
Jorge García Hi! I've shared all of my resources for studying in Part 1 and 3 of this series. Its almost been a year since I've taken the exam, so I don't really remember what's on it 😅. Have you tried 240tutoring? They provide really good study material.
my professors want me to complete the 240 tutorings 100% before I take the exam, which is a requirement but honestly, the 240 tutoring is not working for me bc I am just memorizing I am not actually learning it. That is why I am having so much trouble.

I passed on the first try. I felt the exam wasn't as hard as I imagined BUT I also had one semester of teaching under my belt. A lot of the questions I saw on the test I used my experience to answer. I studied for about 1 hour everyday for 2 weeks (procrastinating😬).
@@TeachQueenQ That is awesome!!!! Thanks girl! I take mine this Sunday and although I have been teaching for 1 year already, I still get testing anxiety lol :) I am hoping I pass on the first try!
This is great! Thank you for doing this. It is so important that we help each other with these purposefully tricky certification exams. Visit Ciencia Learning at www.ciencialearning.com for help on any TEXES exam from expert educators and administrators.
