no you dont have fibrosis... a 5.6kpa is good... fibroscan takes 10 echo pings and some may record say 6.4 and some may be 4.8 and the average is what we choose ... yours is 5.6kpa.... and healthy... however a 288 cap is showing liver is a bit fatty and improvement is advised /// exercise more ..... avoid coca cola type sugar drinks .... lose weight
sir why my direct bilirubin normal and indirect bilirubin 2.21 i think direct bilirubin increase in case of liver disease and indirect bilirubin raise other case not liver disease i right and wrong
No indirect bilirubin is often a bit higher in some folks due to genes often meaning no actual issue... you can do a liver ultrasound to confirm everything healthy

The sgot and sgpt are mildly elevated do a liver scan... Cirrhosis is more 100 sgot and 200 sgpt... so I doubt that.. Oily fried diet can cause those levels... Do you have hep b

Hello doctor I have tested non reactive (scores are also mentioned in bracket) for hbsag (0.52), hiv 4th gen (0.23) and HCV (0.05) after four months of exposure. Is this test conclusive if not after how many months is the test considered to be conclusive. Is there any chacne for me to get hbv infection as I have symptoms such as yellowish and orangish dark urine (sometimes the colour is clear white normal) and anal itching still now even after testing non reactive. If i have tested non reactive after 4 months then why do I have these symptoms? Can one get HBV by unprotected fingering in the infected person? Or Can one get HBV through protected anal, vaginal or oral sex? Assuming that the person has not taken hbv vaccine.

OK if you have hepatitis a your liver will completely recover as the virus only lasts 6 months.... 6.4 kpa is not really enough kpa to talk about recovery
I had my scan today due to raised ALT of 86 over several years. I’ve never been particularly overweight but recently lost another 8kg (maybe too much) and completely turned my diet around. My Matavir came back as F0-F1 (6.2) but my CAP score was 348, so very high. Waiting to hear back from the gastro team.
I just watched this video and this is the best i watched so far. Im a hep B patient in treatment with TAF (tenofovir alafenamide) 25 mg for 6 months now. My hbvdna is undetectable and hbsag is lowering now from 11.000 to 9.000. my fibroscan resulsts are 127 and 7. alt and ast are within normal range. I'm 172 and 68kg. Whats the situation of my liver so far? is it true that if hbsag(the antigen) goes 0 we are cured of hep b? Thnx a lot for your wise answers. Have a good day
@@HepatitisBChannelHepatitisB i live in a country where i dont really understand their medical terms. I don't get why the fibroscan results change every time i do my checks. The KPA this time was higher than 3 months ago( it went up from 6.3 to 7). I know that the more it approaches 7.3 the worse the liver gets. What makes the kpa go higher? Can you guys tell me . Hi doctor, I had sex with commercial sex worker whose HBV status is unknown to me about 1 month ago(my condom broke). As I have been getting symptoms like throat discomfort, body weakness, fever and my urine colour has also changed(more yellowish dark when I go for urine after 1-2 hours of not drinking water), therefore presuming her to be HBV positive, is there any chance of me getting HBV. And if yes in how many days will I get conclusive test reports. I had tested for HbsAG- 0.366 non reactive, HCV- 0.08 non reactive and HIV- 0.108 non reactive about week after the exposure and it was negative. Now after how many days should go for test again? And also I am having minor pain in penis. (I did hiv 4th gen test after 1 month of exposure amd it was negative). When should I do my next test for hepatitis b, C and hiv

Mines came out to 268 7.8. I’m 300 pound athlete . I don’t look 300 at all . I don’t have no diabetes or anything wrong with me . But I did keto for 3 weeks my liver started hurting . I took tudca now my stomach hurts when I eat food. I never drank I just drank a lot of soda my whole life n junk food . Hello doctor, I am from india. On sep 18 my fibroscan was done and my kpa was 12.7.my height is 5.2" and my weight was 80.300kg. After one and half month I reduced my weight and now my weight is 71 kg. I do 4-6 kms. walk daily and I am nonalcoholic.My doctor is giving me Bylipsa 4mg and udilive 300mg and Vitamin-E. Doctor please tell me am I cirhotic or not ?
I run the UK hbv helpline and am not a dr.... there is a measure called CAP that can be done along with kpa... that is good for measuring fatty liver... and may be cause of your troubles... the liver is good at recovery and 12 is not so bad...do you have hep b also

Good afternoon! I found your youtube-channel and it gaves me a really big hope 1,5 months ago i found Hepatitis B, i hade really bright immune reaction: ALT and AST were more than 2000, i was yellow and felt bad. I had a treatment in hospital and now i dont have any symptoms, but still have DNA HBV, it become slower but not so fast (21/08 it was 230000, 04/09 it was 3600 and 21/09 it became just 2100) one more point - i caught something else....like SARS or something else, me and my doctor dont know what is it. I had a temperature 37-38 for 2 weeks and we decided to take antibiotics....and before we used paracetamol. now i'm almost okay and my ALT AST is also okay i just want to ask: is it okay that my DNA HBV going down not so fast? and also we used antibiotic for one week....how its dangerous for me and can i have risk of chronic infection of Hepatitis B because of this? Thank u so much!
OK just keep resting get good night's sleep avoid alcohol and oily fried foods.... hopefully the hep b will completely clear soon test for hbsag not hbv dna

Yes about 1% auto clear chronic hep b every couple of years... usually those with healthy lifestyles and lower fluctuating hbv dna levels....if you do auto clear it's good to do a full hep b profile panel test...and make sure your dr files it clearly on your medical file

OK first stop worrying .... his medicine for hep b is keeping his liver very healthy.... so he does not need a wife dreaming about liver diseases he will not get.... second psoriasis is irritating but not a big issue.... use creans on it not aggressive steriods.... finally stop thinking about side affects he us not having..
In your opinion if you have a BMI higher than 40 can your fibros scan come back inaccurate and have a higher number due to being so overweight I have read some studies that indicated that 35 and higher BMI has came up with inaccurate results
@@HepatitisBChannelHepatitisB yes when I took my test I was 438 lb that was two months ago I am down to 380 I have been dieting and eating super strict low-carb low-sugar intake along with intermittent fasting my gastrologist wanted to retest me in 6 months to see if my score drops it was at a 23 and the cap was around 368 he says he has seen the scores off before with people that have a high BMI was just wondering your opinion I'm going to do everything it takes to get below 300 pounds before my next scan I have no symptoms of cirrhosis except for a little discomfort on the right side but as I've been losing weight that has almost went away and I have also been speed walking a few miles after work everyday

@charleslong5744 yes I try to speak from experience... my liver was in an awful state but it regenerated very well... I call it toxic living... a western supermarket is actually full of stuff that is known to destroy the liver.. Obesity..... fructose rich junk food.... processed junk.... carcinogenic cheap meats..... additives like paint....preservatives full of poisons.... protein shakes.... carbonated sugar drinks.... crisps with enough salt to guarantee hypertension. For years I have done supermarket expos in store advising real nutrition
OK it's a medium viral level ..... do a liver function test and a liver scan to check you are fine..... are you hbeag positive or negative??? What is diet like any alcohol/ junk food/obesity
@shamulctgbd3527 meds will make level from 700.000iu/ml to under 1000 in 8 weeks but they are for years and years . . As a long term process... First get a liver ultrasound and liver functions done and I would say watch for 6 months... improve duet ban alcohol and junk food... keep a decent weight...before just jumping onto lifetime of anti virals
Sir what does it means hbvdna result detected 34.7, tools LOD 4.4 IU/ml. Method PCR real time.. so does it means below 2000? Why mostly other people got result in log units but no with mine 🤔
Sir my mother's report shows : Median LSM 9.7 kpa Median cap 196 db/m IQR/Median 13% Valid measurement 10 She is 45 years old and non alcoholic. In ultrasound it says that she also has a gall stone of nearly 23mm (no pain). What to do??🙏🙏🙏
