Looks more like a staged scene for multiple screenshots rather than they actually raced... And honestly you cannot pit a pure sports machine against a Grand touring machine, it's just not a fair comparison... I drive my Gran Turismo daily up and down the freeways,, I never drag race anyone although many mustangs and challengers would love me to do so, coming up next to me reving their engines waiting for the light to change... I just roll my eyes then flick my ponytail, once they figure out the old soccer mom in the Maserati isn't going to play they calm down...
Maserati’s are GT cars and they’re very heavy…designed to cruise on the Autobahn at 175-180 all day long. Get your hands on an MC20 and race against that or, an MC12.
The crackles on the V6 start around mid rev and sounds uniform. The V8 crackles start at low revs and crackles seem more unorganized, like it's trying to escape but is hitting a bottleneck, more of a raw feel, almost like when you turn the bass up too high on a speaker. Both sound great imo. To each one's own preference, but I do like the V6 for a more refined European feel. The V8 is also great for the raw "Mustang" aggressiveness
I've owned a 2016 Camaro SS 2LT and now I own a 2016 Jaguar F-Type R V8. And the Jaguar is much faster than the Camaro. A stock Jaguar F-Type V6 would not beat a Camaro SS. But a well tuned F-Type V6 would. So let's show a real head to head. This is like putting my GSXR 1000 up against a Kawasaki 500. Well maybe not that bad, but you get my point. Not a fair race.
@@007segue yeah not a fair race but neither is an SS vs an F-type R, a fair match would be ZL1 vs F-type R, not trying to trash on the Jag though, my brother has a 2015 F-type R, it's an amazing car.
@@kevinc4325 it won't, it's a close race that the Jag has more chances of winning but a close race nonetheless, you should start racing more irl instead of just watching yt videos.
I remember when I had my 5th gen ss it had intake manifold throtttle body CAI intake exhaust and I lined up with a new 6th gen and i got him off the line by a bit but man that 6th gen walked me pretty good. The next month i traded it in for a 6th gen lol
I just traded my cammed 5th gen l99 for a stock 6th gen 1ss m6 car and it feels just as fast as my 5th gen lol. The weight is what really hold those cars back.
@Kale864 you must of had a cam only 5th gen I'm 490whp fbo and stall converter amd I best them by 4 car lengths...you had a small cam or a bad tune.i can beat the brakes off 10 speed 5.0s from a dig especially when there fbo as long as I got me drag pack
