Good but could be better. Depends on your use case. Sits low in water, so water gets in, especially if you're heavy. Scuffer plugs will need to be replaced. Feet rest far away from seat. Heavy to transport and lift. Ergonomics seem to be for a skinny guy with long legs. But then it would be too heavy for him to lift it. For occasional use, I would get a smaller, lighter, easier to transport kayak.
It does happen, I just take it out and clean the propeller as I go, pulling out the grass. For me its only part of the season that it's a problem, when the grass gets longer. I paddle through the sections with the grass.
Hello Paul, would you be kind enough to tell me what equipment you bought for extra storage on this kayak, please? Like the bag on front of the kayak. Also, what is you conclusion regarding this kayak? I'm in Quebec and considering buying this bundle from Costco.
Hello, I'm mostly happy with it. However if you can get away with it consider purchasing a 10 foot kayak from Costco. This one is pretty heavy to move around. The 10 foot fits in my car. And the effort saved from peddling, is pretty much awash if you go with a lighter 10 foot kayak. Also this kayak sits very low in the water. So if you are above 220lbs or so, it might not be the best in that regard. It gets water into the kayak with the scuffers open. So you would have to keep them closed. And scuffers will need to be replaced. On the positive side, I found the seat very comfortable and overall its a good kayak. And it has lots of space to take things with you.
I got two of these kayaks and ended up giving away the first one to a friend and it was the same color as yours and the second one a blue they didn’t come with the foam or the safety container like you got with yours and the first one had a black propeller and the second one the orange propeller and the second one came missing bolts for the seat so haven’t even put that one in the water yet plus’s got too busy working to take it out but will be going to lows to get new bolts for the seat to take it out and do love this kayak for what it is and the price
Fun to watch your progress. I just bought one, too. It should actually be easier to fly with the goggles on. The circle in the center points to where you want the drone to go, push the trigger and go! Trigger control is the most difficult, not going too fast and stopping before you get in trouble. Keep at it!
The motion controller is all in the wrist movement and when wearing the goggles it's a good idea to be seated and wait till you progress too manual mode that's a whole other skill set ,good luck buddy happy flying
The integra version of the goggles do not need the phone connected. This is why I purchased this version as my samsung s20 phone had problems working with with the DJI app.
The great lakes and a thunderstorm? What could go wrong? Glad you made it safe. If you are out there invest in a mast with a flag and a light perched on top so boats can see you. I carry a radio too; tether your paddle and yourself to the kayak as the cold will kill you fast.
I bought the same kayak from Costco on sale; also have a hobie with a mirage drive. The stiff steering is my only real complaint and a mod is needed. Other than that the boat is a lot of fun and I like taking it out more than the Hobie if I am going light.
Man that was a lot of rain out of that storm. But i glad you got off the water To take shelter from the thunder and lightning. I have been in that Is situation before & it's not fun at all. Me & my family ( me , wife , 6 boys , daughter in law , my 7 years old Granddaughter , & soon my Grandson who 1 years 3 months old , my lil brother Tim & his son Jimmy ) we all love ❤️ to kayak & kayak camping. You should try kayak camping man. I am glad that Nothing happened to you Is while taken shelter from the storm. P.S. it's so awesome man that you & me like to kayak , wear flip flops 🩴, have flip flops 🩴tan , & your toes are spread out Slightly at a 45° degree angle. It looks like you have wide feet 🦶 too. I also like how you cut your toenails straight across too because I have to cut my toenails Evenly straight across too because my toenails base is very wide. I cut minds with just a lil bit of Clear nail showing Especially with my big toenails. It was so cool to see you with your flip flops 🩴 on because me & my 6 boys are huge huge huge fan of flip flops 🩴 & it just so cool to see people wearing flip flops 🩴. They are the best footwear that that you can wear. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
This was a good video man. I enjoyed watching you put your kayak together. That is a nice kayak you got too. It looked so easy to put together too. I am looking for a pedal drive kayak for fishing but I having problems with the pedal on the kayak. Question do you know how wide the pedal are? The problem that I have is I have big & very very Extremely wide feet 🦶 sz15 6E wide ( which is very very extremely wide ) with very chubby fat wide toes that are Evenly straight across making my foot very very Extremely wide at 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my lil toe. My feet 🦶 will not stay on the pedal because of how wide my feet 🦶 are. It suck having Extremely wide feet 🦶 that are 6 1/2 inches wide. I have to kayak barefooted 👣 because of this. So i am looking for a pedals drive kayak with wide pedals on it. P.S. man it cool to see your toes almost looks like my toes do. I like how your toes are spread out at a 45° Degrees angle. I wish my toes were at a 45° Degrees angle like your toes are Instead of being Evenly straight across. I can't wear shoes , socks , or boots because of how my toes are Evenly straight across. Shoes are made for toes that are at a 45° Degrees angle not for toes that are Evenly straight across. I can only wear flip flops 🩴 which barely & i means barely fit on my feet 🦶 because my toes are wider than the flip flops 🩴 straps. I also like your flip flops 🩴 tan you have. I have a flip flops tan all year long. Good video buddy thanks you for sharing it.
@@Abitibidoug yea i was thinking blue mountain or maybe farther like quebec, ive been to sainte anne and tremblant and there about 800+ meters, i think blue is 400 meters, he doesnt seem to experienced in the video so tremblant would be a nighmare for him, my brother had a hugh wipeout on the first blue run, but if you are a bit better you can handle tremblant, mont sainte anne is super hard and no beginner should even consider it, its all steep rocky runs and they are pretty long 1km+
I have the 2018 Performer 11 (yellow/white) and added the 2021 and they are built like tanks with high quality materials, zero flex due to using triple stringer layers (only board to use 3 stringers for rigidity), new board has a center D-rings so easy to use with a stadium seat. Sold off my Red Paddle board (paid $1200) as I disliked their wonky system of having to insert a batten (plastic stringer) on each side and not fun. Easily the most durable inflatable board made and why many rental companies use them for their fleet.
Its called the Sand Villa Hotel, but I also stayed at the Hyatt before, across the street from Waikiki. I would recommend the Hyatt. Its more expensive, but has better views from the rooms, and a nice restaurant. The Sand Villa has a nicer pool for swimming, since its less crowded. But Its also pretty loud from the street, so a little bit hard to sleep at night. The balconies are very nice though, but the doors are not very well sound proofed. So if you go with the Sand Villa, I would get a room that is as far as possible from the street.
