Oh no! Some frames and their lenses can be a literal thumb breaker to get out! We recommend visiting an optical in your area. They may be able to help remove the lenses using some of their special tools and frame warmers that keep your frames safe while getting the lenses out.
Thank you for the instructional videos we can’t get from Oakley. The sunglasses featured here seem to be the WhiskerII sunglasses not the original whisker, which has the screws on the temple area, not the nose bridge area. None the less this video was helpful, Thank you again.

Prescription lenses can be a bit more tricky. Because they are a bit thicker and more rigid, the lenses have a lot les flex than your standard non-prescription lenses. We definitely suggest visiting your local optical to assist in removal of any Rx lenses.

Couldn't do it as shown, simply too hard. I had two pairs of Tuna Alley's, both were the same way. Popeye may have the finger strength, I do not. However, I warmed up frame around lenses with heat gun and then they popped out as shown. I did one side at a time, a little heat is all it took. Had to warm frame up to snap lens back in near bridge of nose. Imagine a blow dryer would work too.
Hi there Matthew! This is a great tip for anyone having trouble snapping the lenses in place. A small bit of heat from a hair dryer or running under lukewarm water can be a major help! Just make sure it's not too hot or for too long and you're got yourself a great installation tactic.

Hi there! It is possible to replace the lenses in this frame with prescription lenses! We currently do not offer prescription lenses but have a large variety of non-prescription options available on our site.
Mine were a real chore to remove so I used a hair dryer to loosen it up like another commenter suggested. Very stiff but I dig the lenses they’re really nice.

Why does the video show how to remove the Revant replacement lens? Won't most people be trying to remove the original glass? The original glass is not flexible at all, and fits much fighter in the frame. This method doesn't work well. Also the replacement lens have a bit of play in the frame which makes the glasses feel flimsy.

If you're having trouble, here's a little tip: try running your frames under warm water first. This can help loosen the lenses and make it easier to work with the frames. Then, gently push from the back to pop the lenses out. If that doesn't do the trick, I have another option for you! I'd recommend swinging by your local optical shop. They've got all the right tools and expertise to safely handle those stubborn lenses for you.
