I love to share what I'm learning and what better way than to show you? Right now my obsessions are lettering and fountain pens. Hope you’ll join me on the journey!
I just picked up the Asvine V200 and I'm looking still looking for inks. Thanks for the real info! Also love your calm still vibe in these vids. It makes it a blast
Very enjoyable video, my first fountain was a Parker in primary school, bought myself a Lamy Al Star, when I started to get back into writing, my cursive had become very poor due to the digital age and I didn’t want to love it, next I got a few Jinhaos (159), Twisb Eco and after that I took a break and used what I had. Few years later I bought a vintage Montblanc 146 and I got the hooked after that, before that I had a few pens in a drawer to use. The Lamy 2000 is a great pen, would recommend it.
I’m looking forward to trying the Lamy 2000. Flashier pens keep distracting me but I love a good writer I shouldn’t lose focus chasing shiny things ✨ thanks for watching!
I am struggling in learning to write with 1.1 stubs. I currently have one in a Estie Oversized Seaglass and a Ranga Model 3 Ultem. When I get it right it is great but… Also Diamine Espresso and FWP Royal Rhubarb are two of my many favorite inks. Thanks for the video.
I’m sorry to hear about your struggle. I’m struggling to get used to the flex nibs I picked up. Maybe I can make a short showing how I use/write with a stub nibs. I love stubs. I love espresso, rhubarb not quite as much lol it’s a mood when I’m ready for it. Take care and thanks for watching!
Nice pairings!! I like the way you swatch with the plastic bag. I use Saran Wrap but not as many drops! I will adopt your method! Thanks for the inspiration
The little writing samples were so cute and funny 😄! Great video and I really need to just go ahead and grab Wayfarer; everytime I see or rewatch one of your videos I’m just like wow that ink is so pretty lol
I love your video!! Love you writing out the rhymes, they made me laugh! Love your personality and your way of delivering a video that is to the point and not talking 3 days about something before you show it! I just became a subscriber and I’m looking forward to your next video!!
Love your choices for September. Personally I'm not ready for fall. Not to say that I wanted the burning inferno of temps we had all through the summer, but I just want more days of the late sunsets to take walks after work and hang out with friends. I spent too much time working in the evenings and on the weekends. Since I've been so stressed due to work, I've been journaling more so I have been using my pens. That's atleast one plus. Looking at your pretty rainbow of pens I think I need to take all my pens out and see what other colors I can add. Your comment of the leafblower getting that one leaf had me cracking up!
Yes to the pens! Seasons change no matter what so I’ll miss the long days but not the heat we had…September and most of October are the best of both worlds it’s still warm enough and the days still not too short. Pens make it better…looking back, last winter wasn’t so bad I was totally enjoying my pens and the Diamine Inkvent calendar. Hope you get more balance to your days as the seasons change and document it all with your lovely pens and inks. ☺️
I was so relieved to hear the leaf blower. Why do they always do that?? I am about to post a video in which I inserted a little song about the guy running a buzz saw all day. Easter egg !
Hey there! I too am spending the day taking an inventory and trying to organize what I want to use and with what ink! I had it down to only four, but it’s impossible to do that! 😂
The Aero does not appeal to me. But I have a Diplomat Excellence A2 and the steel nib is spectacular, as I am sure yours is. I have and like Cashmere Rose. Thanks for the video.
I am with you girl. First thing I do is look on RU-vid to watch reviews of a pen I'm thinking of buying. I had some jackass this week tell me I need a better vocabulary in pen videos. I don't care. I'm gonna keep making them.
I am still thinking about getting the Purple misto and I looked at atlas and they have an omni flex option which is something I don't have and its $108. Its such a beautiful pen and your high praises are definitely swaying me to get it. But it seems we like similar things.
I love love love love love love love love Franklin Christoph pens too 😉 I'm sure I told you I have 2 FC pens and have loved Franklin Christoph since 2016. I finally bought 2 this year. I love love love how you love the FC pen you have and hearing you say that make me giggle... I always go looking for pen videos that I want to purchase so new pen day videos are a favorite of mine... I love love love your videos keep 'em comin' girlie 🥰
Dang it! 3 new pens are now on my pen wish list including that Diplomat Aero. Ooh, la, la! You also reminded me that I need to get some ink wetter or white lightening already 🤪 Also….digress away. I’m here for it.
So sad your Leonardo Golden Abalone isn't performing to your standards! Your video on it is the reason I pulled the trigger on one. It's a beautiful pen, and mine performs flawlessly. So smooth. I picked it up in a regular fine nib - I wonder if you're having troubles because of the elastic version of the nib?
Yes - it’s totally the elastic fine nib. I’m going to spend more time with it and see if we can get along better. Hopefully it’s because it’s new to me and not a problem with the function of the nib. We will see!
@@wildlyimaginable - yes! - Anita is not a quick, sneak watch - she is a full attention watch - now that I have watched with full attention and sound I have pen and ink envy - that Franklin Cristoph is so pretty
@@anitaanglin- I did 😁 thank you! I am a tsut suji full bottle purchaser too - them taking it away is personal 😢 🥺😡 I love Franklin Cristoph - I got so lucky and won my first one at the Miami. Pen Show this year - it is a dark blue, burgundy and white swirl called Liberty’s Flame an exclusive from Federalist Pen & Paper - I chose a snub nib - the moment I put ink in and pen to paper I was blown away ! The pen body feels so nice and the nib writes so smooth - a perfection that I didn’t know I had been missing out on. Now I am saving up for another one - I want to try the sig nib
Thanks for posting the video! I use notebooks like this all the time. I’ll be sure to look for “made in India” to try out. Did you have any bleed through on the opposite page on any of these notepads?
