@@brandanmark2636 I WISH IT WAS THE 2 of HEARTS. If it were the two of hearts I most likely don't go all in because im putting him on a flush that got there. Therefore, I'm more likely to get away from my two pair fearing the flush, but since there was no flush there's no way I can fold two pair in that spot RIP.
I think every single decision you made here was incorrect. Preflop 85s is a fold in CO 6 handed or full ring, if you play it you need to isolate the limp, when you face an iso and a small 3bet youre crushed and not even getting insanely good odds. Flop you need to lead, opponents will check almost range on monotone boards, check raising is out of the question. And once 2 players commit, an 8 high flush when the 2, 4, 5, 8 and 9 of hearts are all accounted for, its almost always one or both opponents with bigger flushes. Fold every time
That is very true. I feel like they could be on King high or Ace high flush draws however. It is a home game so plays a lot looser than your average casino. But I def was not feeling good about the hand. Was just praying to see them either have a set or straight or only have one heart tbh
Love the channel and videos. I play at Hawaiian Garden frequently and have not stepped up to the 5/5/10 game yet. I'm trying to get better at the 2/3 game. I'm still making some rookie mistakes, and continue to learn. I've read 4-5 books, watched 1000's of hours of poker, and played 1000's hours of poker over the course of 10+ years. I do not play online for money because of the fear of collusion and scandals. But for now, I enjoy the live game. Keep up the great work and always look forward to seeing your vlogs.
Awww thanks for so much so such a nice comment. It really means a lot to hear you say that. Hopefully I see you at the gardens. You should try the 5/5 because the 2/3 over there is too shallow tbh. Hope you run it up in your next session 🤞. Also I go to a pretty fun 2/3 home game in riverside if you’re interested in playing. The action is great. Hope to play with you soon
Truthfully remember the rule of five... 8 out of 10 players normally bet with a 5(15, 25, 35) solid numbers solid cards (20, 30, 40) now the (50) bet he wants a call (150, 250)
Huh never took the betting increments into that much consideration. How interesting. I’ll keep that in mind the next time I play. Thanks for the info man
There are actually several hands better than aces. Two pair is the next hand that's better than Aces, then three of a kind, then a straight, I'm sure you could Google the rest. A royal flush is actually the best hand
hes on a shorter stack comparatively so its slightly more difficult to put him on an extremelt strong pocket like kings or aces, its part of the game fr
Limp jamming at low stakes is always an incredibly tight range. I play £1/£3 myself and I have never seen less than QQ on a limp jam before. 95% of the time it's rockets
on the 98s hand, sometimes just let it go and wait for another play. keeps the variance low against those "gamblers" , as majority of the players at the garden are.
@@PocketMs With two nines thats a lot of hopium.. someone with an king pair could have taken you down.. Don't get me wrong I think you're a bold one but.. that wont get you anywhere.
@@Huhujaduhe’s not going all in for value , he’s going all in as a bluff due to the fact that he has extremely strong blockers to the nuts . He takes this line with this hand this hand with hands like q9s or 97s for maximum value and hands like this as bluffs with strong card removal . He also puts someone who just calls a flop like this in a really tough spot when they see an over card and straight completing card come out on the turn . You just aren’t thinking on a level as high
It didn't have to be just Ace Queen of Diamonds for your opponent to hit the jackpot could also be just Queen Nine of Diamonds for plain straight flush for that jackpot. Quads beaten by straight flush as long as both y'all whole cards plays on the board.
Oh for sure bro. Actually if I’m honest when people recognize me from the RU-vid channel it gives me a ton of fulfillment from spending all the hours editing and the hard work I put into the RU-vid channel. So definitely feel free to say hi it would mean a lot 😊
Mmm it depends. Tournaments in my opinion are softer but you it’s much higher variance compared to cash games. So if you have a big enough bankroll to ride out the variance in tournaments then go for it. But I would say you could win more consistently in cash and in tournaments your gonna lose most of your buy ins and then just hope to bink one to make it all back
