I've actually spent a good bit of time designing a system for our new home, with double impacts expected to be upfront. A wish list. I'm sure Tekton makes a fine speaker, and by all accounts, outperform their price point. After watching this and Eric's videos, this company has a serious problem, and it has nothing to do with speakers. I am no longer a future customer. Maybe they should spend a little more time with a publicist than their lawyer friends. I will never knowingly give my money to bullies.
If reviewers need lawyers to be able to review and analyze products based on their own test methods and publish the materials, then the companies that will require retention of legal counsel to review will be left behind and ignored. Good, bad or indifferent, reviewers should not be held liable when they are transparent about their process.
No we don't need "common ground" nor do we need your approval to review anything. You have no say in that process. This is a free market and people are free to voice their opinion of your products. PERIOD . We do not need to be solicited before we can review something. I get what you guys "expect in return" , you are used to giving away products to high profile reviewers in exchange for glowing reviews, those days are ending. And yeah "stand your ground" = FAFO what happens. I would never buy anything from this guy.

I love how audiophiles are super snowflakes. These reviewets jump online to gather their posse ans cancel a company and thetes wasnt eben legal action. The sad part is, the employees lives at these companies you all have affected. They've either been laid off or had their hours cut back because of these recent fiascos. I feel like this is a man who is phenomenal at designing speakers but catastrophic at PR and doesn't realise it. He should probably just hire a young and upbeat specialist to do PR/ media and just focus on making the speakers. There's no need to let social clumsiness or personality flaws ruin a great speaker company's reputation.

Well... Andrew Jones' speakers always get good reviews. However, one of my friends sold me his because he didn't like them! It is what it is my friend. It is hard to make a few thousands for speakers, circumvent spouses' disapproval of big boxes and pair them with electronics! So, somebody comes along with measurements who understands this and end users appreciate that!

When you look at just a small sample of the correspondence between reviewers and this guy, you can only conclude that this guy is a nut. I'd like to see his "year over year" sales for last year and compare it to a "year over year" analysis since Alexander began this pissing contest. I didn't see a single comment in support of Alexander. Can Tekton survive? if I were an Tekton employee, I would be dusting off my Resume.
Yeah, arguing from authority all the way. Not a great look. Erin, on the other hand, sounded very modest and moreover rebutted the nonsense about the feet. I started looking at this brand just today, and only dug up this entire drama while perusing reviews on RU-vid. I’ll look elsewhere for sure.
I’m not going to burn my $250 Starter jacket because someone took a knee. I’m not going to stop drinking a beer because the beer company supports a.certain group of people. I’m certainly not going to deprive myself of beautiful sound because of spats between a few grown men. I ordered my Tekton’s and look forward to enjoying it’s beautiful sound.
