Congratulations on getting ready to hit 12, thousand on your subs. I still love the hat! And, it's also cool to watch you tear down a saw that you are familiar with. Shows a lot of progress in your craft.
You are right about the pipe, my friend! Even a pip like that can rob power if it’s not tuned to the porting. but sound like it has a lot more. For max power output of pip like that, it would need a temperature reading at the cylinder progressing every half inch to the tip and cut the pip just beyond where the temperature starts dropping rapidly. If not properly tuned that way the cooler part of the pipe will cause a thermal restriction and a loss in power. This is why top fuel dragster headers are an exact diameter and an exact length. But this is just a chainsaw. Someone might say doesn’t matter. Thermal restriction is thermal restriction. Dyno Joe did a great video on a header on a chainsaw and the shorter the pipe got the more power it made. No bends or turns straight header pipe, same diameter the full length. A muffler maintains roughly the same heat throughout, so no thermal restrictions. But hey, if it makes a person, happy roll On! Make some noise. 😊
pretty impressive for the size for sure. That is a tough thing, the battle of expectations. I was impressed with how much smoother the .325LP chain is. VERY Nice upgrade
@@Aaron_A_Lynch yes sir, be nice if somebody guess I could try and figure out an easy accessible carb swap for em with no governor, or we just live with em they way they are heck of a saw no matter what 👍🏻
