I do not know about the active track specifically with the S5II and RS3 Mini. I do know that most of the features of the gimbal are accessible when connected with the usb cable to the gimbal. Hope that helps.
That is a really good question. I have not noticed that happening. But I also 99% of the time keep my low light shooting at the base ISO of 640 (the second tier when shooting in natural profile), so I haven't been cranking up the noise much anyway. Maybe I'll make a video testing that 😎
can you test out the basketball shots where you follow player from player then you walk toward the ring to capture the ball entering? i am wondering if those kind of shots benefit more from good ibis or lower rolling shutter like the FX3 it's hard to explain but i like keeping the movement in the camera while still having stable footage without wobble
Hmm, I think I may understand what you're saying; getting a handheld sequence tracking the ball and then ending with a made basket? I don't know if I have a good way to test that, but I can picture something like that with swish pans being challenging for rolling shutter. The S5II is not ahead of the competition in that department, from what I understand.
@@ljmproductions1 yes the S5ii is behind in rolling shutter, if only lumix could release something with a much lower RS with their ibis they would be unstoppable
UPDATE: Although this video was with the old firmware, I made a new video with the new V3.0 Firmware which has a new High E-stabilization mode. Check out how it stacks up against the gimbal here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bet-3rdQKXU.html
Hello! So I can't say for sure, but my guess is that it would probably record audio successfully because it is already set up to transmit through that USB cable. However, I would suppose that the audio quality won't be very good perhaps, but no worse than you are used to with your headphone mic normally. Just an educated guess. Let me know how it works out for you!
I took a 1979 Toyota Corolla wagon up there a long time ago with the family and we actually spotted a pack of gray wolves to the east. It was a nice ecperience.
Man you are a pro! The avata was my first time with fpv. So... yeah, still learning.😂 I just took my avata to Colorado and finally did some cliff diving!!!😳 You have to do that sometime! It's an adrenaline rush! I'm posting a vid on it within a week or two. If you are curious. Great job man!!!
To some degree, yes. Less intense, for sure. You can set up and choreograph a drone fly through or fly-over and get some cool shots. A Mini 4 really isn't designed for flying first person view, or going through tight gaps and that kind of thing, but you could get creative and create some cool shots even so. One thing you would of course have to watch out for is not having prop guards when flying close to people or through gaps and stuff. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Here you go. I thought I put it in the description, but this works too :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y4yZHraxXCs.htmlsi=w-ur7Ow_W4k6cTDF
is it r 3 mini or rs normal? plus r 3 mini should be connected via the cable to the lumix S5IIX, what about the ssd? is there a solution you know, thanks in advance
Thanks for watching and commenting! The gimbal I am using is the RS3 Mini. It works fantastic with this camera! I do not know of a solution for recording to SSD as you describe. I see what you're saying; if you're using the USB port for the gimbal cable, you can't plug in the SSD. My solution (if SSD recording is required) would be to run the system without the cable to the camera. You lose some handy features, but it is totally usable.
@@TheTravellerSheriff I believe I am able to do it with the mini. I have had issues with that function when the gimbal was not properly balanced, however, so maybe make sure that is done correctly. Your full size rs4 should have no issue with using that feature I would say
@@TheTravellerSheriff I can tell you, if you're using the s5ii, the mini is a great choice. I have not personally tested with something like a 24-70 lens, but with the 20-60 it does great, and I believe it works with larger ones as well
Ive had to turn back on the trail before I reached my goal, it sucks but it happens. Trying to get a trip together to backpack the same general area where you were. Hope it goes well but nothing is ever guaranteed.
It happens for sure. Kind of a gut check moment for all of us, and sure we could have used a little less caution and done something different, but this was safe and worked out. Have you been to the Red River area before?
Ford put out a TSB on the IWE. It's different depending on the year model and I can't remember what you had to do for your year model. But it was something that you can do in your driveway the bad thing is is that your hubs stay engaged and of course your transfer case doesn't engage unless you put it in four-wheel drive.
This is not the highest peak you can drive to. Greenie is 11250. Go south to Taos / Mora county line. And make your way to the peak of Cerro Vista. 11936ft
I was not aware of that drive. Tried Goose Lake last time I was there but the water crossing was too deep for my full sized Bronco. Gotta try that one. Weekday only though, and very early in the morning to avoid all the folks.
Yup, Goose can be deep. And just as sketchy because of the side by sides from what I understand. Greenie is nice. With a Bronco, you'd have no issues, and it's just a fun trail to do that gets to a great view.
Great video. I will say, you chose the longest route. There are trailheads that would get you to the top and down in a timely manner. Heading down the mountain isn’t climbing the mountain. Planning and the ability of every hiker in the group is crucial. Keep exploring the outdoors. Thank you for documenting such a dope experience.
Thanks for the encouragement! We didn't explain it in much detail in this video, but a few years ago we did do one of the shorter routes that is less intense, and made it to the peak successfully. This time we wanted to try a different route, but it didn't work out too well... 😄 Thanks for watching and commenting!
You can learn more about Rock Mary and the California Road as well as the other mounds at the Hinton Museum. Art Peters has completed a great deal of research and has written books about these mounds and the history behind them. A short video using local talent was made and shown on Oklahoma’s PBS station a few months ago
