I just saw this awesome vid last week and then I saw the IFT4 Starship launch in which one wing was badly damaged during re-entry. At one point the melting wing covers the camera and obscures the view. It occurred to me that Motion Extraction could make it easier to see what the wing was doing after the lens was covered in a mess. Would you consider doing it and posting. Cheers.

someone in late 90s in Schneider was addicted to the technology than money I guess. Schneider was the german manufacturer (or maybe distributer only) of Amstrad 8bit computers those days. I am curious about who is?

Why does the e-ink with a color filter on top use rgb? Shouldn't it use cmy instead, it doesn't emit light

how do you manage to receive dutch stations like Skyradio and 100NL and also receive SWR4? why no WDR? i live in northrhine-westphalia, right between dutch stations and SWR stations, and my band is filled with WDR, because they broadcast from here.

I didn’t know how much I love VFD until now XD It’s amazing how much character some of these display designs had an we toke it for granted. So nostalgic!

I like the design at 9:49 the most, but 4 should use the vertical line on the right rather than the bottom right diagonal line, so that it looks like the H but upside down. Looks better imo. EDIT: Just realised the alphabet is a weird mishmash of capital and lowercase letters, and that the S and Z are the same as the 5 and 2 respectively. Now I hate it.

at least it's efficient for the amount of segments it has. 7 segment displays often display a lowercase b and d but an uppercase E and A. his x0 with 13 segments is much better. even on his webpage for his segmented displays, he says this one is ugly lol

You should definitively go where I grew up : in Tromsø ~ northern-Norway (above the Arctic-circle,close to the 70*N Ø .) Interestingly the letter:”Ø”has a “built-in indicator” for where the Arctic-circle starts. (So-to-speak). In the summertime there is about 52 days where the sun is above the horizontal-line! “The MidnightSun”time. In the Winter it’s the opposite situation .The Northern-Lights can be truly mesmerizing . Then there is the “Day the Sun Returns” *>~\12i21/~<*This is the day(s) when the Sun rises a little above the Horizon more and more. . .This time of the year is magical! Standing on the “right”-place(s) at mid-day, it is possible to se the point where the sun appears in the south-western Horizonte, where the mountains is lower, appearing yellow-Golden-Orange to Blood-Red fire in the clouds&sky as it sinks down beyond the horizon . The cold clear air is transparent. The color range is from high-contrast brightly “deep-blood-red in the south-west,to golden-orange-to soft yellow to soft-soft yellow-green , to green,-green-turquoise-above,to -light-blue,to darker-blue,to-indigo-in-the-north-east.As the minutes passes, it go’s into grey-violet-darkgrey-to lack-of-depth&details-blackness… . . . .Then the dark blue sky in south-west is lowered as the sun moves more & more south-west. (Actually it’s of course the earth that moves around its 24hours circle! (and the slower yearly-cycle(s) around the sun.)The golf-stream, coming from the equator, going to the Greenland -coast, to the west, through volcanic Icelandic waters where the north-Atlantic meets the North-sea. Above is the Arctic-sea. Arctic melt-water sinks to the deep-water conveyer-stream, while the warmer surface-waters go’s towards the coast of Europe’s longest mountain-range, the (approx.) 2000km “Scandinavia”-range. This is one of the reasons people can live so far north!. (and survive to tell the tail). Thanks for entertaining, educational & inspiring non-blockbuster films. . . . . . ..
